Competition got stronger. Unless you are genetically gifted, a bunch of low effort selfies wont work.
I put alot of work in my profile. I got about 220 likes in 2 months as a bald manlet. I do have a good style, good body and decent facial features.

That being said, only about 10% of matches do actually lead to a meet up, if anything. And most of your likes will be from average women, so you gotta drop your standards.
If you can pull a 7.5 in real life, dont expect to do that on tinder, you have to date down. 75% men, 25% women on that app, let that sink in.

No selfies. Pic doing an activity, pic being social, facial closeup, full body pic, shirtless only if you have a good body. Interesting locations in your pics. Pic with dog or different animal. Proper angles, lighting, style.
Facial expression should be mixed. One serious, one smiling. Dont give depressed loner vibes. Try to come off as you are confident, trustfull and chill, living an interesting life.

If you're so tired of it, you dont have to join the threads. Clearly misc loves bigballs. deal with it.

OLD is just a different animal, its just about looks and its even worse now cause they changed the algorithms more to try to make mid men pay the premium.

I'll focus on barmaxxing but jesus, OLD is the only thing that has ever worked for me. If this is gone its truly over.

OLD isn't gone I'm killing it atm, how long did you swipe for? Pay for premium if you're in a big city and see how that goes

Location does matter a lot though and I'm not saying it'll be easy, but unfortunately you have to pay for those apps nowadays and spend a decent amount of time on them if you want to really have some success

Muzz's barmaxxing advice is solid. I also agree on 2am or bust. Earlier in the night, girls may be holding out hope for Chad. Once closing time is rolling around, standards drop if they want some kind of action. It's the same principle as guys taking home fatter/unattractive girls who are the leftovers at the end of the night and who wouldn't have been in the running at 10pm.

Also, I guess I'm a boomer at 34, but I'm pretty sure I don't have a single friend or close acquaintance who met his/her significant other on a dating app. School, work, introduced by friends or met at an event hosted by mutual friend(s), or bar. I also don't know anyone who I am aware uses dating apps at all except my one manlet friend who gets hot matches and this ultra-nerd acquaintance.

Most of my friends are on apps and most the new relationships in my social circle are formed this way. Its depressing.

Also, I understand that men lower their standards at 2am but wouldnt women rather go home alone than fuk someone she's not attracted to?

Give it time. When I first got on Hinge I had like 5 total matches and 10 total likes the first week and 95% of the chicks they made me swipe were all the ugliest, fattest, grotesque and sexually ambiguous people on the app.

Then they start feeding you normal chicks to swipe and then after a while I had like 400 likes. Not saying you're going to get that, but the first week or two is basically hinge throwing the worst at you along with profiles that aren't even active.
