the Movie Troy with brad Pitt while not

Being up there with class 5000 films like gladiator and braveheart , troy still is a good film and has some great scenes but why do most people , especially chicks think Achilles was so much better than Hector when Hector was clearly the better man, in every way. He got bested in the fight but everyone does at sometimes. Hector was a true warrior, family man, devoted husband and father, fought and died for and in defense of his Country. Died an honorable death.

Made me sick his little weasel brother lived while Hector died how he lived with himself I can not grasp

But what's your thoughts. Better man Hector or Achilles?

Hector was the better man and I liked his character more but I'd rather be Achilles. Brb getting mogging joggers, slaying prime puss, no family commitments, etc, etc.

Agreed that Hector should have flung that whore and his pathetic brother off the boat or sent their heads, cartel style, to Menelaus to appease him a bit.

Edit: No homo. Achilles tastes were 'questionable'. Would rather be Hector if being Achilles means bottoming out twinks.

Pointless endeavor. The war would still have happened, because King Agamemnon agreed with his brother about the cheating as an excuse to go to war. Peace was never an option.

Paris. Got to cuck a King and smash his HBB wife, then ended up killing Achilles and leaving Troy with Helen at the end. At least in the movie version, lol.

They’re both fictional characters so neither one is a better man since they were never real men. The more important question is what is the author trying to say about humanity (or men if you want to be more specific) through these diametrically opposed but also similar characters.

Hmm but you do make a persuasive argument for Paris.
Didn't Menelaus's brother say that sooner or later the war would be inevitable? Or maybe it was the King of Troy, I'm not sure. Agamemnon already had his sights on Troy before the cuckening. Ikr, Achilles gets the glory, but Paris gets everything else. Still alive with an uncertain future and a hot wife by his side. They could live however they desire afterwards.

Achilles was the better man, by far.

Hector was blindly defending his pissant bitchass little brother Paris who started a whole war because he literally stole the wife of the King of Sparta.

Paris is threatening the lives of thousands of Trojan men because of his little tryst. Little does he know it will leas to Troy’s utter defeat.

Achilles is a resolute man of pure honor who lives for glory on the battlefield, he is a man committed to gaining eternal fame and notoriety through sheer feats of bravery and valor. He reaps glory on the field of battle like a farmer reaps wheat.

Troy has great fight choreography because it displays the insane athleticism of Achilles. He’s like Michael Jordan playing against a high school team. His skill so far outstrips his enemy that nobody can even scratch him. Even Hector only scratched his armor.

I like how Hector actually make Achilles get slightly out of breath. However, it was still a relatively easy fight.

I think it’s a great film.

In the book she went back to her hubby. And the cuck took her back.
Also side note, she was a Demi god too, daughter of Zeus and a human.

The whole conflict was caused by 3 goddesses (Hera, Athena and Aphrodite) arguing over who was hotter. They went to Paris because he was so honest or some chit. They all offered bribes, one being the hottest PAWG on the planet and that was the one he picked.

Whenever one side was winning, the gods would get involved, kill a bunch of humans and turn the tide of battle, then they’d do it for the other side. Humans got played hard in that story.

Moral of the story, Greek gods and goddesses are super dîcks.

yeah the AUDACITY of Achilles Arrogance would have got him filled with ARROWS.....the SMART strategy would have been to employ Artillery and teach the history lesson about bringing a "knife to a projectile fight" which Goliath learned the HARD way after David humbled his arrogance with the SLING!

Achilles was the ultimate MOGGER. The scene where he chops off the God statues head is GOAT. Showcases a true alpha that is internally free from superstition.
