Went into Hermes to buy a bag
I was shopping for a birthday gift for me mom and she always wanted a kelly or birkin bag from hermes. So i went into the store and holy **** this place is ghey as fuk.
Everyone there is mostly asian. Anyway i ask to buy one of these bags and the sales ghey guy tells me that's not how it works. He explains that these are wish list items and i can't buy them now but i need to establish a relationship with rhe store first. What. The. Fuk.
I'm staring a t the bag in the display but this neutered baugette won't sell it to me until we are in a relationship. I cheekily tell him that I will cup his balls with several hundreds of dollars if he just sells me the bag but he refuses.
I left the store with no bag. Sorry moms.

It's like high end watches, you need to spend a certain amount on less desirable items and give at least three reach-arounds before they'll put you on the list for the good stuff

Had no idea this was a thing lmfao.
But yeah, I've never shopped at super fancy designer places like these or even stepped into one because I don't really care about big designer brands.
Sound's about right from these places though ... I've heard of actual legit rich people dressed like marc fkkerberg going in and getting absolutely chit service from the staff or thinking that they wont be able to afford the items, so they just treat em like chit lol.
Funny thing is this sort of behaviour is from the staff, who are pretty much poverty kunts. Anyone actually walking into one of those stores probably makes more than they ever will and still get treated like chit from some glorified tradies who think they're superior just because they slave for a designer brand lol.

Always lol at people that even try to buy that stuff. They do that on purpose to make you want it and desire it more. All for the name of materialism lmao.
Fashion is the gayest thing ever and there's a reason why they target women and blacks. White dudes will by $7 H&m t shirts, wear the same pair of jeans for 8 years, and buy their flannels from carhartt so they last a decade.

its like 95% margin on those bags.
That bag cost like 20 bucks for them to make in some chinese sweatshop and that is including their "luxury" materials

You can easily buy Ralph Lauren used for the same price as Target new.

i'm surprised you were able to just walk in.
most high end luxury brands require an appointment/booking to get in.
and the chinese rule everything. we just have to accept the reality.
chinese on one end ****** on the other

Women dont really care about the actual bag.
They care about the experience of buying the bag.
You never hear of a woman just buying a fancy bag online. They have to go to the store, get the attention, be seen and feel special about the purchase. Thats what they are really paying for.
So basically, that guy did you a favor.
