Also lold at cdpr not learning anything and still refusing to let streamer footage be shown.
I'll give this new update a shot and hopefully it might be the one to make me finish the game, but I doubt. I dig the game, but this game falls hard when it comes to the actual RPG element.

Update should be out now. They recommend starting a new playthrough because of all the changes from 2.0. but you can still continue with your previous character if you don't like starting a new one.

But tbf as well, I did get a lot of spoilers watching Starfield early reviews so there's that.

For PcCels that are also Nvidia cucks

Be sure to download that to have DLSS 3.5 and the new ray reconstruction for Cyberpunk 2077 and a few other games

Early observations on update 2.0.
I've just finished the lifepath intro and tutorial and I've noticed the following:
-Vehicle free look - You're able to look much freely now inside your car in first-person view, so you're able to enjoy the interior of your cars more
-Vehicle sounds have been reworked. I've only tested this in the Nomad vehicle but early reviewers already confirmed this for the other cars
-Enemy AI is definitely better now. Early reviewers have said this, but I've only tested it in the combat tutorial and it's definitely better. I actually died a few times in the tutorial. In the last part of the combat phase, the enemies who are holding guns will try to get in cover more now while the guy with sword keeps harassing me in close range and he's actually ferocious and blocks more. - this is in the hardest difficulty btw
-Performance on PC is practically the same as before. Even my temps are the same.
-There's now a dedicated dash/dodge key, so you don't need to double tap wasd keys to do that anymore. Always a pet peeve for me in the previous version of the game as that can make you easily accidentally do a dash or sidestep
The only let down for me, and this is more on Nvidia's part, is that ray reconstruction will only work when you also enable path tracing lol and unless you're rocking a 4070 Ti and above gpu, you probably won't be able to enjoy path tracing's performance. I have a 3060 Ti and I only get 30fps when path tracing is on.
-The changes in cyberware and skills are the most massive changes in the game and I'll let you guys go to youtube for that.
There's also a build planner on the official website so you'll have more of an idea about the new attributes, skills, perks, etc and you can plan your build out

Can HUD be completely disabled, including the ugly crouch icon on the bottom right? I have no idea why more devs don't make these things dynamic, or even let us swipe the touchpad to bring them up.
If not I'll play it outside on the QLED to avoid burn in

can anybody help me figure out what i'm doin wrong:
I have a 4090, 3440x1440 monitor. I want to limit my fps to 100 just because I don't feel like making my room hotter. I get 135fps with everything maxed with the new update
I have frame limit set to 100 in video settings but it still is outputting 130+....is framerate limiting not possible with dlss or is there some other setting I need?

tech jesus mentions at 9:30 mark in the video that the menu is bugged and settings don't save/stick. any settings change can mess up your graphic settings, even restarting the game.
probably fixed in the near future but make note of it

Gonna finish Starfield then start this, excited; might make a new character (third playthrough) just to enjoy the 2.0 goodness. Not sure yet.
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.

RPG's, adventure games, etc, I limit to 60 (because there's literally zero reason for more) and shooters I set to my screens max refresh, which is 165.

Looking forward to buying the entire bundle including the update and DLCs and binging it for the first time ever on my PS5. Thank you to all you DayOne cucks for beta testing it over the years so I can take it all for granted and enjoy it the way it was supposed to be.

They added another arcade game in update 2.0 - Trauma * Drama. The Roach Race game was added in patch 1.6 if I remember right

There are now cops roaming around on foot which can lead to dynamic encounters with gang members
The menu UI for your phone, character, journal, etc are so much more pleasing to the eyes now and looks more organized

But I remember GameSpot giving it a 7/10 before launch which is reminiscent of their Starfield review lol since it also caused a lot of drama.
Speaking of drama
Luke Stephens, might be one of the most skeptical reviewers out there had this to say after playing update 2.0. and Phantom Liberty
Cliffs on drama:
-CDPR won't allow reviewers to use their own Phantom Liberty footages until 26th (screenshots allowed tho)
-Youtube reviewers are baffled by this because they say it's really good and they've only encountered a few bugs and very minimal performance issues, so they're not sure why CDPR would do this.
-Gameplay footages for update 2.0. are allowed though
If I had to guess:
1) They're actually worried about spoirlers
2) They want their own footages shown across the board which was taken with a super computer with path tracing and everything so the graphics look immaculate, and they don't want some peasant reviewer with a 2060 running on medium settings to ruin that
3) Even though reviewers are saying they've only encountered minimal bugs, CDPR might be worried that some people will clip those bugs and make tons of memes about it since Cyberpunk still has that looming reputation about bugs even though I can say right now that the bugs even before 2.0. are just the same amount I encounter in Witcher 3 and other games.

Never played CyberPunk, but might give it a shot. Hopefully the world is much livelier with the update, seemed completely dead, & NPC’s were just a disaster.
