If your league is anything like the ones I'm in 2/3 probably won't cut it. Especially with how many people's RBs are either busts or injured.
In the league I'm in with FAAB, he went for 42% last night. I only put in a token 15% bid, but I was like 5th in the sweepstakes. I couldn't have gotten him anyway. I had already spent 32% on Puka and 31% on Kyren last week, so I don't even have 42% left. If 42% seems a little low, the league doesnotallow $0 waiver bids or FA pickups, so if you blow all of your FAAB, you can't make any more transactions (other than trades) for the rest of the year.

That league sounds brutal lol. The one I dumped $100 requires $1 bids but once a player clears waivers you can pick them up for free.

Yeah, it makes saving FAAB imperative so that, if you absolutely need a player in the playoffs, you have to have at least $1 to make a bottom of the barrel pickup. I once didn't have a kicker in the championship game because I had spent my last FAAB dollar in the Tuesday night run but then my kicker got hurt during the week and I couldn't pick anyone up to replace him. Fortunately, I won anyway.

Yes, I agree with Stevenson and Hall.

I'd go Kirk at flex, though London is (finally) starting to get more tempting, especially against Detroit who always seems to be in shoot outs. Maybe go London if you need the ceiling play.

That is the same order as I would have them. If Monty were healthy, he'd be third behind Breece, but since you only need to start 2, that doesn't matter anyway.

Agree with Sandcar. I'd keep Kirk in the flex unless you really need a home run then consider London, but there is always a chance that the Falcons will pass like 9 times if they get a big lead early and can grind the rest of the game out.

I am definitely pleased with my purchases of Puka and Kyren at a discount compared to Ford's price this week.

Well my top 2 guys in JT and Jones are hurt so yeah. I ended up getting outbid by a good margin. Guy that got him went for 90. Sucks for him now lol.

Nobody should have expected a bell cow because Chubb isn't even one.

They were always going to bring someone in and this is definitely not the worst. Trading for JT would have been.

Yeah, Hunt is washed and isn't going to suddenly take over the backfield, so I definitely don't recommend adding him, but he is going to cut into Ford's workload far more than Pierre Strong would have. LOL.

I'd pick up Gus Edwards ASAP. Outside of that I'd try to trade for a RB too. Maybe you could move D.J. Moore for a startable RB? Or if you'd be willing maybe you could trade Jefferson for a WR and RB.

Edwards' value is far less in best ball. He's good for a plodding 8-12 points per game, which is a useful flex in normal redraft formats because he will consistently avoid a goose egg, but in best ball, you want to add pure upside guys because you don't have to worry about guessing which weeks they will pop off.

I'd maybe try to trade JJ for McCaffrey if the CMC owner is interested to shore up your RBs, then look to add more inconsistent upside guys to the WRs. From the list, Dell & Skyy are ideal candidates (as well as guys normally even further off the radar like Hyatt).

Warren is probably the best of that bunch and has some upside potential, too. Gainwell and Hill are currently injured, and the others I would want no part of.

Warren does look like a better fantasy RB than Harris too, so far. He has that catching upside. I'm considering it

A dude from my fantasy offered me Joe Mixon and Jerry Jeudy (LOL) but this is his line up. Dude said if I think i'd want different players to let him know. Dude really wants Jefferson. His line up is

L Jackson
J Love
T Pollard
J Mixon
Devonta Smith
D Hopkins
K Pitts
Jerry Jeudy
R Mostert
I Pacheco

bench

J Meyers
Z Jones
Marquise Brown
Elijah Moore
H Henry

I was thinking of offering J Jefferson and Dj Moore if he agrees to trade Joe Mixon/Raheem Mostert and Devonta smith but is this unfair/ unbalanced?

i wouldn't trade JJ for anybody, especially 2 weeks into the season.

however if you are really into trading with this particular guy, mixon and devonta for JJ isn't a huge ripoff. i just wouldn't do it, i don't see a doable trade here. i doubt he wants to involve Pollard.

In all honesty how valuable is Garrett Wilson considering that Rodgers is out and Wilson is their QB? Man is asking for Jefferson and G. Wilson if I want Devonta Smith and Pollard

That's an intriguing deal. Wilson is one of the most exciting and talented young players in the league, but like anyone, he's going to struggle getting balls from Zach Wilson. I love Devonta. He's emerging as a legit top 10, possibly top 5, wideout. If you want to go for it and really shake up your team and your league, do it. Overall, I'd call it pretty even. JJ is obviously the #1 WR in fantasy, but you're getting a top 5 RB and a top 10 WR, while Wilson is the weakest player in the deal due to the QB situation.

If you take it I'd try to get him to throw in Jeudy. He's a good buy low target.

JJ is obviously the #1 WR in fantasy, but you're getting a top 5 RB and a top 10 WR, while Wilson is the weakest player in the deal due to the QB situation.
I appreciate your replies mane, really appreciate the perspective. I think I might pull the trigger on this trade tbh. As soon as Rodgers went down I regretted picking Wilson on my draft

Still wouldn't do it. It isn't the end of the world but even if we re-drafted today I'd take Wilson over Devonta and I'd take JJ over literally the entire league.

give it time. AJ Brown was voicing his frustration last week about getting the ball. Devonta might take a back seat.

Devonta is better than AJ. Really, they play different roles so they can easily co-exist, but Devonta will be the #1 for them this year. He is filthy. AJ probably will get a squeaky wheel game (maybe this week), but over the course of the season, Devonta is the one you want if you have to choose.

through 2 games you may be right but AJ had 1500 yards and 11 or 12 scores (and i think he missed a game no?) LY. he's only 26. that guy is going to get his and it may cut into what D Smith is doing

meanwhile you'd be giving up Wilson who is at least Smith's equal if not better, JJ is the best player in the league. i can't get on board. i'm not saying it's a rip but i would not do the deal
