QUESTION FOR DEMOCRATS/LIBERALS: ARE YOU TIRED OF WINNING YET?

“Today, Democrats came to the rescue," she said. "Speaker McCarthy admitted defeat and asked Democrats to put out the fire that he and his party had started.”

Some House Republicans expressed outrage with the spending legislation, with several hard-line conservatives renewing threats to oust McCarthy from his speakership. Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) has repeatedly threatened to file a motion to vacate if McCarthy advanced a continuing resolution with Democratic support, with the Florida Republican telling reporters on Saturday that the speaker was on "tenuous ground."

I guess the 9 people that didn't vote were too busy sucking up to donors or on taxpayer/donor funded vacation. Did Boebert miss another vote and try to pretend to run to the Capitol building at the last minute?

McCarthy violated house rules By allowing this to pass on suspension.

“Rule 29—Guidelines on Suspension of House Rules

(a) The Republican Leader shall not schedule, or request to have scheduled, any bill or resolution for consideration under suspension of the Rules which—
(1) fails to include a cost estimate, or for which the cost estimate exceeds $100,000,000, unless fully offset by at least an equal reduction in current spending”

In other words, this “victory” happened because commies don’t follow rules or laws. McCarthy needs to be removed for this, and the bill technically shouldn’t stand.

Cool story, bro.

By the way, you should have kept reading the rule, Krakhead.
(b) A waiver of this rule can be granted by the majority of the Elected Leadership as defined under rule 2.

(1) Any measure receiving a waiver under this paragraph shall be subject to a recorded vote on the House floor.

OP's obsession with literally anything Trump related has reached newfound clinically certifiable levels.

Phil9 has already destroyed you (as usual) but McCarthy had Trump's full and enthusiastic endorsement. So McCarthy is doing everything Trump wants done.

"OMG Noliberals4 is talking about the GOP Presidential frontrunner on a politics forum! How dare he!?!?!"

Not being able to handle any criticism of Dear Leader is essentially the biggest sign of being in a cult.

Seriously, look up "Top signs you may be in a cult." Questioning Dear Leader is ALWAYS at the top or near the top of the list.

BTW my post criticizes Matt Gaetz/MAGA, not Trump himself.

Only right-wingers are allowed to randomly bring up Trump in threads. It's a Miscer rule. Like Mark bringing him up in that fire alarm thread. That's diffe(R)ent.

It's insane how emotional these "alpha males" get when you dare criticize their fat 78 year old orange fat fraudster isn't it?

Trump exposed all these fools. That's for sure. He exposed me that's for sure (I used to be a crazy ass right winger).

You’re forgiven brah. Hell, you can still be politically right but want the GOP removed from being beholden to an unstable orangutan.

Thanks. I cringe at a lot of my former self.

I am glad Donald opened my eyes though. That's when I realized right wingers were full of chit. I used to be like Stizzel, Freeheeler, gwg, Xterra, etc. etc. Unlike them who hang on the Titanic thinking it won't sink I got the hell out on there quickly (though I actually left before it hit the iceberg - I quit supporting Trump when he refused to disavow David Duke back in early 2016).

1. Born and raised in California. Aside from one great great grandparent, all my family have lived in the USA since the 1800s (and that great great grandparent came in the 1920s).

2. Californians are not suffering.

3. Canadians are not suffering either. Canada's crime rate is down and is kicking ass.

Complete lie and bull*it. First, if you have opinions then they don't change based on a side being "frauds" or terrible at politics. You don't change from pro life to pro choice because of one side being a fraud. Second, your trolling shtick is obvious using psychology. There is less than 0 percent that you voted for gavin.

Uh yes opinions change all the time. Mine did.

When Trump is your number 1 guy, your movement is dead. I do still hold a few right wing beliefs (mainly dealing with crime - like I am pro-death penalty for example). But overall I realized that even though right wing beliefs tend to be correct, it doesn't matter because right wingers are just dumb.

I realized right wingers were just dumb. If it's between Gavin and Larry Elder, it's Gavin all day.
