Nah, those were dolls. Joy toys are the actual hookers. Game needs more hookers imo.

That therapy was gay though. I don't wanna talk, I wanna fuk and hurt people.

On the sex part, I agree that they didn't go that hard on controversial stuff.

On many of the missions though, like Sinnerman, for example, there were a lot of controversial gritty stuff.

Btw later on in the game there are expensive hookers

Jackie's bike is an Arch so what they probably recorded is Keanu's motorcycle brand as shown in this video

But they recorded so many vehicle sounds so they probably mixed up some stuff
That Arch motorcyce is so damn nice, too bad it's over $100k

So far I've seen a bunch of hooker options. Look for the women with the heart icons above their heads.

Could be wrong but last night I think I saw 5 different hookers in that degeneracy area where the old asian Wakado(?) fixer is.

https://sea.ign.com/cd-projekt-red-p...-the-witcher-3

"Cyberpunk 2077 has reached the 25 million mark within around two years and 10 months, while The Witcher 3 didn't reach 25 million until around the four-and-a-half year mark, Kiciński said. The Witcher 3 was recorded as selling 28 million units in December 2019, around four years and seven months after launch."

^Not really surprised here since even back in the last quarter of 2022 earnings call, CDPR said that sales for CP77 are projected to surpass The Witcher 3's. With the improvements from update 2.0 and Phantom Liberty, I think that's really gonna happen.

Meanwhile the expansion has sold 3m copies so far

Ok, I'm not sure why patch update 2.1 didn't make any mention of the Radio changes in terms of volume.

In 2.0 the radio was silent as fawkkk when I drove around despite even changing down the audio settings and stuff, but in this new patch I can actually hear the radio properly and finally get to experience all the joocy tracks while driving around in the city. It's a huge QOL improvement.

Patch notes did mention it

I was looking forward to that because it was really noticeable how radio volume became lower

You can play right now. If there's going to be another patch, it probably won't be for a while. The patch was more like just a hotfix. Minor issues. Fixed glitches that not all players experienced anyway. I read through the patch notes and I didn't experience many of the stuff it addressed. The biggest thing it fixed is the Johnny Silverhand bug where if you pick a certain dialogue option, the glitch effect from the relic won't go away, which is game breaking if you don't have a save before that.

Other than that, just some minor stuff, like we said one of the big things is the radio volume being low.

I'm sure they'll put in patches still.

Obviously start the game. Right now it's in an amazing state .... I mean I personally had two potentially game-breaking bugs in 2.0, but again I might be an outlier. Regardless rest of the game is running extremely well and it's a pretty big night and day difference from the initial launch.

Highly recommended from me.

It's still not what CDPR promised, but it's sure close. Also note I'm only talking about the base game, god knows what sort of improvements and stuff went into the phantom liberty DLC story and stuff. Pretty excited to get into it.

I played the Sinnerman quest and I didn't understand it and it was boring. On my 2nd playthrough so I'll pay more attention.

I thought the GOAT side quest was the Peralez storyline.

A live-action TV show or movie has been announced.

https://www.vg247.com/cyberpunk-2077...-million-units

"CD Projekt RED has announced a collaboration with global media company Anonymous Content to develop a live-action project set in the Cyberpunk 2077 universe.

Anonymous Content is known for producing Emmy-winning series True Detective and Mr. Robot, along with Academy Award-winning films such as The Revenant and Spotlight. As part of the collaboration, CD Projekt RED is working directly with company head of television Garret Kemble, director of development Ryan Schwartz, and chief creative officer David Levine."

^It's unlikely with today's climate but I hope it's gonna be much darker and grittier than the game. More like Game of Thrones. I want to see r@pe, incest, and chit that will shock people just like Game of Thrones did, at least for its first 4 seasons.

This is a good argument and I don't think many have put thought into this. It's arguable Cyberpunk is more fun than GTA, maybe not RDR2. GTA is honestly shallow when you really think about it. What do you do when you beat the story? Drive around, rob gas stations, and blow up police cars. GTA online is a MTX grind fest only really good with friends.

Cyberpunk is better in gameplay simply because it's a RPG with actual gameplay mechanics. It has lore and several backstories. Also being 1st person it feels way more immersive. Walking in 1st person in the city and surroundings with tall buildings and neon lights in general just feels like you're there

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a better opponent for Cyberpunk and probably gets the edge because of the NPC. The NPC function like real people, you can get real conversations and reactions. There's lore, there's random events, there's wild animals, and there's activities you can do.

Overall Cyberpunk 2077 is very worth playing.

I'm heavily biased for Cyberpunk because I'm a fan of the genre as well, not just the game. But I wouldn't get this heavy bias if the game isn't good.

First off, let's address your first worry, the game size. Even with the expansion, it's registered in my ssd as 80gb. That's actually quite small compared to so many AAA games releasing these days, and few have the scope that Cyberpunk has. RDR 2 is 120gb on PC.

As for how much fun it is. I've played GTA, RDR 2, and obviously Cyberpunk, and I can tell you, especially with the gameplay changes from 2.0 as well as the expansion, Cyberpunk is much more fun and has more replayability. Because after you finish your first playthrough, you can try other builds with your next playthrough as well as try out different choices on missions. I have a gorilla hammer build right now and it's so fun smashing the ground knocking people down with my hammer, yeeting them. But I can't wait to start a new playthrough with a cyber ninja build with katana dashing around and slicing off enemies.

I think RDR 2 has better, more polished physics though, but the stuff you can do with Cyberpunk is crazy.

I think if you get the right, specialized build, you can feel OP again even without the expansion. The expansion adds the relic skill tree though which is awesome but doesn't really make you so much stronger. Although with the expansion, you'll level 60 level cap so there's that.

How come there’s still so many negative reviews on metacritic saying the game is still just as broken and a lost cause

Still a buggy mess **** 3 years after release. Cars and objects fly around, NPCs fall like a ragdoll if you drive close to them (not touching them), serious game breaking bugs causing your save to be doomed (got stuck inside a mission area and could not exit in any way, had to reload old save). Apart from all the bugs this is just some more mediocre Cyberpunk content. Get it in a year or so when they have hopefully fixed the most serious bugs and the expansion is cheap if you really like Cyberpunk. The rest of you, stay away from this!

I guess it’s pc
I don't check my CP, IDC about reps/negs

I had one mission bug on me, the one where you go and have a therapy session with the sex worker. I did everything except sit and wait at the start of the mission so it kept telling me to repeat everything I just did. Ended up just walking away from the mission area and it completed itself, but some dialog got mashed together. Been fine since then though. I know some people have been suffering that relic visual glitch (the blue pixelated thing) ever since that mission but it didn't happen to me

Nobody takes user reviews on Metacritic seriously because anybody, people who haven't played the game, can rate games there and review bomb it.

If you actually want some serious user reviews, go to Steam reviews because it requires you to own the game to review it, and it shows your time spent on the game on your review, the only small caveat there is if you have the game on family share, you can review the game without buying it but the review would still show the gameplay time.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1...yberpunk_2077/

Its recent user reviews are at 87% positive and Phantom Liberty is at 88% positive.

With that said, judging by your threads, I do not recommend this game for you.

gta5 and rdr2 are way more polished and imo better games

if you compare cyberpunk to these games you'll be disappointed imo

it's one of those games that's always going to split opinions

you could find it enjoyable, you could also find it pretty boring

i think it's pretty good overall, looks pretty, massive in scale, cool weapons, the world itself is interesting etc

but i can also understand why others don't like it as the entire game is pretty much go here, kill a bunch of guys, collect something, repeat (whereas in gta5 or rdr2 every mission felt different/this is why you don't want to compare to those games)

the story.....i'm not a big fan of but this is subjective. there's a lot of endless dialogue about nothing

there are some things in the game you'll be scratching your head wondering why the fuk they put that in like the braindances

there are still bugs, but you can look past them

i haven't exactly sold it but it's worth a try
