I climbed Kilimanjaro earlier this year, and that was my top before. Now I kinda have to come up with new things.

Right now my goal is to get super fit. Eventually I’ll come up with some other hobby that I pour all my energy into. Real Estate Development was that hobby during the last couple years, but will probably take a couple years off until the markets stabilize a bit.

Would love to run the UTMB (170km round Mt Blanc)

Got 60km thru the CCC last month (the 100km version) before dnf , it's like 30-40% dnf rate cos it's so bloody hard, still broke my heart tho. Literally cried my eyes out cos I didn't want to stop but didn't have a choice.

It's really hard, especially with the altitude. Saw some people spewing their guts out from altitude sickness. I just got super exhausted.

Going to try again in a couple years, next time my fiance (husband by then) will be coming with me which will make a huge difference I think. Hopefully we can afford it, the actual race isn't that bad but airfares to Europe are kind of pricey.

I don't really have anything big, for the moment I've been prioritizing hikes and backpacking trips that are close to home and easyish to accomplish with respect to time and travel. Last year I backpacked into the Bighorn Crags in central Idaho with my oldest son. This year, my oldest son and I summitted the high point in our state. Next up is a through hike on the Lone Star Geyser trail on the west edge of Yellowstone to see the Shoshone geyser basin. I wanted to do it this summer, but life was just a little too busy. Plan is to get it in next year. Either with my older kids, or if I can convince my wife the whole family. Youngest will be 5, but 5-year-olds can hike surprisingly far as long as you keep them fed and don't have them carry much.

Nothing really. After finally getting a metal bucket for my BBQ pit ashes, I'm pretty well set for buckets.
