I don't recall who, and they were not dicks or rude about it, but someone took strong exception to me the other day when I suggested Israel was bombing Gaza 'randomly'. I was informed, they only use precision weapons and pinpoint targets.

Edit: Reading the thread, and to little surprise, Hamas was purportedly using the hospital as a HQ or to fire rockets from. Dunno. I still think you need to use a surgical ground-based operation in that case. Not knowing the specifics, I can't really say that though (for all I know, that would be impossible or somehow cause more casualties, who knows).

Slightly less ire towards Israel, but only slightly, and I still maintain everyone involved in this appears insane and evil.

Don't jump to the conclusion that Israel actually was behind this attack, they have no reason to hit a hospital. IDF are also saying they were not behind it and that it was a failed rocket launch from inside Gaza, which apparently you can see on al jazeera live streams around the same time the hospital was hit.



No idea which side is right here, but either way its a tragedy.

Reserving judgement till we get better info. It just seems peak retardation on IDF's part to level a Christian hospital a day after Blinken leaves and a day before POTUS arrives, both of whom have urged restraint and avoidance of bombing civilian areas and the good graces of whom Israel will want to preserve for their ongoing campaign.

Also important to remember that not all civilians are created equal. Something like 70% of Palestinians want Israel destroyed.

How do you deal with that if you are an Israeli?

I am not a fan of Israel, but they are definitely the lesser evil here. I just don't know how you deal with a population where the majority want your destruction...
