The Hayabusa t3s do give the best wrist support, any wrist movement (rolling) is what will hurt your hand the most.
Why do you do head movement? Are you shanequia?

Do you have any recommendations on brands for both? Some brands I’ve looked at for gloves are hayabasa, venom, ringside. For shoes… I’ve considered title, rival, Nike.
Background, I’ve been doing boxing since last march. Typically go 2-5x/week, with my own personal training sessions post lifting 2-3x/week. Only have done heavy bag, pad work, and gotten in the ring offensively while people practiced their defence. Prior to that, on and off Muay Thai.
Thanks in advance and poverty reps to anyone that actually offers solid advice!

- Learn various stance like squaring up on the inside or learning side stance and using your lead hand to create distance using jab, hooks and uppercuts to set up power shots.
- Work on your footwork, learn to bounce, transfer weight, shuffle in and out. Be diverse with your footwork patterns and learn to switch stances as a way to outmaneuver you opponents. Footwork is extremely underrated.
- Cardio, cardio and even more cardio. Run hills, skip rope and do tons of sprints. Lots of boxers lacking technique can win fights with cardio because they can just spam their crappy 1-2 punch nonstop.
- Stretching is extremely underutilized in boxing. I actually got better in boxing when I was training in taekwondo and Tang Soo Do. Korean martial arts demands stretching in-depth stretching that go deep. This allows better sleep which= better recovery
-Lastly find a very specific boxing coaches that can teach you niche styles or unconventional techniques in boxing. Some freelance trainers can teach you to hook off the jab and they have all these neat tricks that can be added to your foundation so you end up with distinct advantage.

But I’d also advise just taking a look at some YouTube Review videos for some of those top brands.
There’s a new brand called Flys (British brand) that I looked at but after a YouTube review I felt like it wasn’t the quality I was looking for considering the price. But they look cool.

Look Condor, you are the same one who said Pacquiao is superior to Mayweather. This is clearly racial bias.
Cuz clearly... Mayweather is superior.
You say Pacman > Buakaw because Buakaw is darker.
But let me assure you.. Pacquiao is gonna have trouble with Buakaws toughness when they fight. And it's in boxing rules.
Also, you are a golden bull so you should root for your the golden bull martial art... Muay Thai

Practice shuffling/shifting every training day. Learning switch stance is pretty advance if you ask me when I’m just starting to learn! Lol
I have started running but I guess it’s more endurance as I run for like 30 minutes straight then do on and off run/walk for the next 30. Should I just only be doing sprints?
I do yoga every 2 weeks when I can for stretching
Hmmmm….. that would be nice but I don’t think I’ll actually get to fighting in competitions!

You’re right, I haven’t even looked at YouTube reviews as a resource, but I should. Thanks for that reminder!
As well… I have boxed with my wrist splint on so if the hayabasas feel like that, then maybe it wouldn’t be too bad for me?
Hmmm! Decisions, decisions, decisions. I’ll have to do research and watch reviews like you said.

Anyways, when I bought my Winning gloves it was about 5 years ago and they were $275. Now they are $425!
You're new and still learning what you want from a glove and don't know how to wrap your hands yet for your specific needs, so I'd avoid making a big buy right now.
I've been geeking out on Boxing gloves lately cause I'm still looking for my second pair to go alongside my Winnings. I recommend looking at RDX, Rival and Hayabusas. Look up their Return Policies and see how easy it is to make a no-hassle return. Buy straight from their website, and do not use Amazon because I don't trust sellers on there for expensive buys.
Typically men buy 16oz gloves for sparring and training. But for girls, and depending on your actual weight/size, you may want the next step down. I would talk to some girls that train in the gym, and see what size they use and if they like it. Basically you want enough padding to protect your hands and block punches, but smaller gloves mean it'll hit your sparring partner harder. Its good to train with slightly heavy gloves though, and in a real fight your hands will fly faster. So basically your choice is 14oz or 16oz depending on your size.
MAKE SURE to get Velcro Strap gloves. Do NOT get the gloves with the shoelaces that you have to get someone else to tie every time you wanna put them on. The Velcros are almost just as good, and the shoelace tied gloves are really better for pros who have someone putting their gloves on for them.
But bottom line is this, I'd make sure to use a 30 day trial for two different gloves and just enjoy using them for that time being and seeing what you like. Read the fine print, I think most companies say you can return them within 30 days as long as they are not used and have their tags on. So just keep the tags on and throw some punches without breaking a sweat and you should be fine. But mainly, I'd also be asking other people in your gym to try on their gloves before the workout start and ask if you can hit the bag a little with em, ask em what they like and don't like. Winning is the best but ultra expensive. I see RDX ($40) and Rival ($85-$250) a lot in different gyms as well.
Also, just watch some youtube videos on handwrapping and see how you can custom wrap for your own preference on wrist protection or knuckle protection, and securing the thumb, etc. You'd probably want to know how you like your hands wrapped before you start testing and judging which gloves are best for you.

I’ve only been boxing 9 weeks, and this week I got to spar, but I bought my own gloves and pads on week 2 because of how much I enjoyed boxing and how it clicked with me.
I bought Venum Giant 3.0 gloves in 16oz size, and Rival Boxing RPM11 for my mitts. For wraps I just use Sanabul 180 wraps. I don’t have boxing shoes, but I use Flux zero drop shoes for almost everything and they work fine for boxing (for me).
I suggest this video for hand wrapping technique. His whole channel is great boxing advice for the most part, even if he has some click bait stuff for the views.
Have fun sparring, and make sure to let your training partner know if they’re throwing too hard or you’re not comfortable. You already said you don’t want to pursue amateur boxing, so there’s no need to get into hard sparring since you also said you’d like to maintain this long term.

Since it's Amazon, I would order a few pair to try on for a good fit and then return the ones that don't. A good fit is important because you can be more detailed oriented and have less injuries(but don't want it too tight either). Ever ordered food and it looks messy? It's because the worker who put it together used huge food gloves that don't fit lol.
Really the shoes and gloves don't matter that much as cardio and being able to work on your skills.

What's your budget OP?
Also good on you, boxing or any contact sport builds character, not to mention it will put you in top shape if you take it srly.
Just lmao, a female miscer has the balls to step into a boxing gym, before terry, the state of the world.
