Universal healthcare does not even mean a government run healthcare system, you have countries like Switzerland and Singapore which arguably are more private focused than the US and yet they still guarantee care to everyone regardless of income.

Can the bootlicker boomer class of economic conservative who rejects things like this hope to survive into the future?

Singapore has a population under 5.5M, an extremely strong border and a conservative population governed by a "zero tolerance"government with strict laws. Comparing them to the US is something only a smooth-brained liberal would do between crying and fisting ze/self.

The population is unhealthy because of the retarded system. Capitalist hedonism and excess led us here. Their greed and indifference to disease led to this monstrosity of a healthcare system.

Rand corp did a study on this, and it ended up costing only 70B or so to give everyone healthcare. We spent more on Ukraine.

https://www.rand.org/pubs/research_reports/RR3106.html

It is definitely doable. Keep in mind, we are spending 1 T annually on the military.

I’m all for it. But the border has to be secured first.

Can’t tell you how bad it sucks going to the ER having to wait for all the illegal scum to go before me.

What the fuk are you even talking about? I am saying we (Americans) spent more on Ukraine than would have been needed for universal healthcare.

What part of this is hard to grasp for you?

Yeah agreed completely. Same for any country.

Imagine if Republicans ran on a strong border and a universal (but still entirely choice based private/public hybrid insurance system) healthcare platform. It would be the easiest win ever.

Honest Reply: ising, can we be perfectly honest instead of towing the line here?

Universal Healthcare in the USA does sound awesome. All of your healthcare under the US government, taken care of.

One of the problems is that this is an extreme political football that has self-assumed pundits supporting it.

If you have any real experience in business, your success boils down to the people on the ground or the general population who are face-to-face, working directly with the individuals and families who comprise the demographics of this product. In other words, 250 million people.

No matter your politics, it boils down to service. I might have symptoms of prostate cancer. If it takes me literally 6 months to finally see me for an initial assessment, my cancer might have advanced to the terminal level. Anything less than urgent is slow-motion and cancelling out the perceived value of Universal Healthcare.

So, I guess the public's viewpoint is that my vote is worth more than me living for another 6 months.

IMO, the public is being played.

And I spelled it out to you in plain English too wincel. "We" didn't want to send $100 billion to Ukraine, and "we" don't want to spend $100 billion on universal healthcare.

...or maybe we would if we DIDN't piss it away on Ukraine. Either way.

How is it that somebody so desperate for everybody to be in awe of the math class he took in high school - can be so dumb winny?

On the other hand, why should I pay for the care of the morbidly obese, a drug addict, a smoker, an alcoholic, etc?

And would this Healthcare apply to elective surgeries?

Because the second you give the government money for anything they shred it up in the beaurocratic woodchipper. Biden threw like $70B at a project to build EV charging stations a couple years ago, and they still haven't built a single one. Just lol at wanting that same level of ineptitude when it comes to your life.
