Srs, it's been one of the biggest insecurity points for me.

I have childhood trauma from my mom and sister making fun of me. Instead of trying to help, they just say "ewwww wtf is wrong with u. Brush ur teeth u nasty."

Thing is, I brush my teeth twice a day for 5 mins minimum each and floss everyday. And then this one time in high school, my "best friend" yelled out to the entire class "EWWWW UR BREATH STINKS". And then he threw an entire case of mints at me and said "HERE TAKE IT ALL, U NEED EM MORE THEN ME".

I'm a decade out from high school and the insecurity still carries on.

It could be stomach related? Maybe try taking a probiotic or make some dietary changes and experiment to see if that helps?

Oil pulling

You really flossing every day and brushing your tongue / roof of mouth etc ?

1-2 tsp of virgin coconut oil and swish around mouth for 15 mins, spit into trash not a drain it will clog it, rinse mouth out with water and spit into trash again

Toxins will be pulled from ur mouth so you must rinse 2x no swallowing

but it gets old chewing gum all the time

you realize overtime that most people don't chew gum all day and still have fresh breath

Absolutely pissening sickening disgusting

You have "childhood trauma" over this and you're not taking every precautionary measure necessary??

Brush your fkin tongue every day upon awakening and do it right, this is why your breath smells

The oil pulling will help

Hopefully you've learned a valuable lesson today son

You do know to brush the gums and not the teeth right?

Also even if you floss everyday dentist will pull more tartar off your teeth if there is any buildup than your floss can.

Tongue needs to be brushed twice a day.

i'm speaking from experience

i've done the tongue scraping thing for at least 3+ years

stopped a couple times, and went back to it. Even bought tongue scrapers and shiet.

didn't help much

but i haven't tried coconut oil with it so will try that

Keto and fasting can really make your breath stink. If you don't do either of those, then you probably just need to drink a lot of water. Also, go to the dentist for regular cleanings and use a tongue scraper.

As others said, tonsil stones are likely. Use a tongue scraper. Use a good electric toothbrush; there's no reason to brush 5 minutes if you're doing it right.

halitosis is caused by overgrowth of the bad bacteria / gut microbiota.

what have you mostly eaten over the years. high carb/processed foods feeds the bad bacteria if you eat it like a mofo.

halitosis (bad breath) is mostly caused by sulphur-producing bacteria that normally live on the surface of the tongue and in the throat. sometimes, these bacteria start to break down proteins at a very high rate and odorous volatile sulphur compounds (VSC) are released from the back of the tongue and throat.

carnivore could fix it over time. no idea how long. and anything to feed the good bacteria. they say stuff like sauerkraut and kefir helps

doxycycline as an antibiotic can help kill the bad bacteria but might not be permanent.

Try bioteen at night
Friday night. Date night in Miami. Every night is a date night in Miami, and everyone's having sex. But for me, sex never enters into it. I don't understand sex. Not that I have anything against women, and I certainly have an appropriate sensibility about men, but when it comes to the actual act of sex, it's always just seemed so undignified. But I have to play the game.

Get a tongue scrapper.

Most of the bad breath causing bacteria is on your tongue.
Use after brushing your teeth in the morning and you will be good to go.

You could gargle with hydrogen peroxide (the 1% or however it's diluted stuff in the pharmacy). Won't hurt. Someone mentioned a water pick? Also can not hurt.

Keep brushing, keep flossing, go to an actual dentist with your concern, not just teeth health. You might have those stinky little white glob things.
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.
