Try offering something they can't, or see if you can click with her emotionally irrespective of height, etc. Remember, the looks threshold will only disqualify you if she finds you physically unattractive from the get-go. If she's on the fence or doesn't have strong feelings (i.e, not attractive but not unattractive either), the other qualities you have could possibly win her over.
