Has anyone been to Hong Kong before?

I'm planning a trip to the Philippines then will fly straight to Hong Kong for a week. Going to Hong Kong Disneyland and stuff. Has Hong Kong been taken over by the CCP? Like if I go there and say "China is àsshole" will I be jailed and tortured?

I’ve been a few times precovid. From what I hear it’s still a cool place but the ccp is having more of an influence these days.

Hong Kong is awesome.

Its basically a big crowded city like you picture New York. Expensive but endless cool stuff to see.

You will most likely spend most of your time in Kowloon which is across the bay,. Itw where people get those cool skyline pics of Hong Kong.

Of course there are lots of chinese people and they do stuff different like cut in front of you in line and bump into you on the sidewalk and such, just deal with it.
