I'll simply mention that it can't hurt to get some NAC powder and take a gram twice a day, same for quercetin. And though it's not easy a 3-5 day water only fast. The fast causes a large amount of generation of new immune cells while some of your old ones are done away with. Exercise may be more taxing, but you need that as well; do what you can even if it's just a few miles of walking per day. People always talk about how the water only fasts cause auto****y, but that's not the main reason for the fast. Exercise causes even more auto****y than fasts do. Again do what you can, and don't go buck wild with exercise since that can fuk you up worse. Keep it light but consistent.

I couldn't taste food for a couple weeks and it gradually got better over about 6 weeks. Otherwise hardly felt it.

Know people who work there. So yeah. I pretty much walked in and skipped the line. Went directly to the back for a shot/script. And was back on my way home within 10 minutes. At the time I was on cycle and did not want to miss a workout due to covid or feeling like ****.
I also didn't want to use sick days at work. Because at the time if you called in sick for covid you had to be out for a week and test negative before you returned. Get paid sick leave but when I retire they have to pay me for all of the sick hours I accumulate at whatever my rate is at retirement. Anticipating/shooting for a 500K severance check.
I deal with sick people and I'm exposed to stuff like covid/flu numerous times per week when its in season. In general I do not get sick. But if I start feeling like I might come down with something I get a cortisone shot/z-pak immediately from a bro.
There is 0 reason why some petty illness like Covid or the flu should have me feeling like **** for days on end. I can just get pumped with steroids/antibiotics immediately which knocks out the symptoms fast and I feel amazing.
Life is better enhanced/on dat dere super-human time. Getting sick is for plebs.

It was similar for me
I tried working out 5 days after testing positive and that definitely made it worse. I think it was 6-8 weeks before I felt normal again

I asked him why the fk he’s working at a bank now and he said he got the china flu and had a hard time breathing, could barely walk a block , and unfortunately has long term china flu health effects and had to quit because he has permanent damage to his lungs and a low oxygen saturation now , brutal .
Good luck OP, here’s hoping yours isn’t the long term China flu, and you have a speedy recovery

Well here in the real world, on Earth, you can ask people questions about their experiences and **come to real life conclusions** that.....it varies.
But as a briliant person i know that you know this already, so no need to beat a dead horse.

That sucks, but you're crying early after just 1 month has passed. Wait until you've dealt with a chitty chronic health issue for a year or three, then you'll be able to relate somewhat to people with lifelong chronic health ailments.
Not saying any of that to be mean. Just putting it into perspective. Get well soon, Opie.

Back in January 2022 I got the Omicron variant.
Prior to getting sick I was able to do 30 minutes on the spin bike no problems.
After getting sick and recovering, I was completely out of breath after 6 minutes, to the point where I had to lay on my bed and relax for a few minutes otherwise I'd pass out.
What I did was follow a healthy diet, and every other cardio session I would increase my time by 2 minutes.
Took me a few weeks to get back to normal. I believe I had to take a steroid inhaler to open up my lungs for about a month.
I was the fattest I had ever been in my life at that point and that was after severe lockdowns and low vitamin D levels. Ever since, have not gotten sick.

I didn't get the shortness of breath, but the fatigue took a few weeks to dissipate. Loss of taste for about 3 days. Occasionally smelled a weird smell a few months after. Currently no lasting effects.

When I caught it, it was very bad for me. Took several months for the shortness of breath to subside. Memory effects/brain fog still persist 1.5 years later
Did not get the vaccine since people seem to be reporting that.

I'm not sure if I ever had covid before. I rarely ever get sick and there were a couple times I got sick with what I thought was a cold but it may have been covid but I never got tested so I don't know.
