My father is in his mid 70s and is still somewhat in control of things, so I understand the dynamics. No matter what type of competence older people might have had at their peak, they begin to lose sight of the big picture once they get into mid 60s and beyond. Obviously the Chiefs were hot ass in the 1st half, and they needed to change things up as the 49ers are not a good team at all.

Regardless, the NFL is scripted and mostly unwatchable nowadays. If the Lions weren't good, I'd never watch it.
