In case you've not realized it, the fracturing of the worlds financial economy over the Ukraine war is whats happening. Countries with commodities do well in times of war, countries without generally suck it. If the US doesn't wise up and consider nationalizing its GAS production (or at least direct it) we could very well be in trouble.

There will be 2 financial economies once all this dust settles and its gonna be the wests versus China/Russia/BRICS.

The good news is finance doesn't like despots, more likely to have your bank nationalized and your reserves given to the oligarchs. So the dollar should still fare well after all this **** goes down. See Venezuela for example (though that has more to do with oil, not finances). But the idea's the same.
