Tip on carry out is insane. Do you tip your cashier at Whole Foods? Do you tip the receptionist at your gym?

I've worked in food service for decades, I've done almost every job in hotel and tourism that's possible, from Bellboy, to outdoor guide, shuttle bus driver, food , server and chef, there is not a job in tourism I have not done.

Tip cucks are entitled beocheis and you should tip for a really good reason, such as an outdoor guide. those guys have your life in their hands.

never tip servers crew, its the easiest job I ever done, they are indeed crying little cucks

bump

got my change last night from a pick up. Started counting to make sure it's all there. Bar tender was salivating being nice asking if I wanted platic-ware. I said yes while shuffling money. She brought me some thinking she's getting a tip. I put money back in my pocket and bounced.

lol go back to reddit, cuck

It has nothing to do with affording. It's the principle. This is how I know you're poor because you have no respect for your money or yourself.

weird that people who don't have a lot of money often lecture about giving good tips. it's like their worst fear is actually being recognized as someone that doesn't have a lot of money.

I have yet to see any rage when I don't tip them. Tip at sit down, of course. Picking up? Nah. I bartended for years back in the day. A tip on a pickup was a rarity and seen as a bonus, never expected. It usually only happened if someone was picking up a crazy amount of food, for like 6 people or more.

I took some family out to dinner recently. I left a nice tip because I was with family and everyone had a nice time. The waitress was cool all night but I guess she felt the tip wasn't enough and she snapped. Slammed her hand on the table and freaked the fuk out. ded fkn srs.

At that moment, I realized how entitled these fuks are. We weren't even demanding and didn't ask for her to do anything extra. She brought our food out and refilled someone's water. I think we asked for a few extra napkins at some point, that was it.

I told her to take her meds before she comes to work next time and we left.

blame society/culture and not the workers, if everyone else tips them a decent amount and you don't then you look like a chit bag...
I hate tipping culture, like it should be a courtesy not an expectation... cool you did your job, and maybe you did it well, maybe your employer should pay you extra instead

100%

this goes for everything that 'we the people' should be standing up to but everyone's too cucked and defend the big corps, governments, etc.

Wars were fought over much less but instead everyone's choosing to get on all 4's

the argument i get from people saying why didn't you tip 25%+ is that they "work so hard" ....my response is that people making $12/hr cleaning literal turds off toilets also work hard but people aren't tipping them for 5 minutes of actual work done with a pleasant attitude.

Exactly

They don't realize that minimum wage raises everything else when it goes up.

It's not meant to be a livable career but they're all brainwashed
