Why are drivers so angry and aggressive these days?

I see people pull some really unsafe stunts just to get to the red light faster than everyone else.

It's like they want confrontation to take out their frustrations.

Kind of scary if you ask me. People will kill just to get a car ahead.

Yeah man, I see this too. People are riding other people's bumpers when there's tons of cars in front. Like where do they think that behavior will get them?

also they make all these dangerous maneuvers just to have to slam on their brakes and make the next turn. It's insane.

Don't engage or argue. As long as you didn't get hurt or damaged vehicle then just keep driving and being safe.

You never know when someone's willing to risk it all just to make a point. It's sad.

I think the covid lockdowns broke people mentally (as planned)


The vaxx also seems to have done something terrible to people, and now they are aggressive, drive even WORSE now, and do some of the most insane things nobody would have done 5 years ago.



I talked about the couple times I've encountered in the last 2 months, with drivers being completely brain dead sitting at a full 4-way-stop all staring at each other while I pull up, look around, and then go, even thought they were all sitting there for 30+ seconds.


Or the guy who pulled off a main road, blocked the intersection, then was honked at, and moved 10 feet to block a sub intersection, and sat blocking traffic while I had time to walk into the store watching them sit there in the way of everyone... It was shocking to keep staring at as I was entering the store.

drivers in TX are the worst at this.

saw some dude in a left turn lane cut to the right to go one car ahead of him because the dude in front was 1 second too slow.

brb driving 90mph on every lane on the freeway

brb using freeway exit lane to pass people even though lanes to the left are clear

had sh!t skin yesterday honk at me as she passed me when i was going 40 in a 35. the other lane was completely free no traffic.

Not sure but I see it all the time, trucker crew.

I’ve seen some pretty insane rear end collisions all over speeding, not paying attention to the road ahead just to be first at the light like op said.

I’m rollin when the commute starts and while I’m in the city I’ve seen women putting on underwear, stockings, applying makeup, reading the paper. I’ve even seen a dude naked driving, he had to be high af.

People in Texas drive like animals.

I’ve almost gotten killed multiple times on the freeways around Dallas Ft Worth.

Saw a car burst into flames from my hotel right off the freeway in a high speed collision.

I once saw a woman reading a book while driving ded srs. One of the most bizzare things I've ever seen...Honestly, thought I had stepped into the Twilight Zone.

my most recent time in texas (I drove from Mpls) I saw a minivan flipped in the middle of the free way on day one lol. IDK how that even happens.

Everyone is in such a rush these days. I don't give a chit tho - i drive my speed and yall can go around if you need. Not my problem.

Stupid. You can't fix stupid.

Speeding on the streets saves you 1 minute getting to your destination at best. People don't realize that. It's never worth zooming in congested traffic.

the best is the guy rushing to a red light, then we get there with less gas wasted and sitting at the same light over and over again as you can see his face filled with rage

for me tho, nothing is worse than cruising in the middle freeway lane and you have a car speeding approaching your rear super fast flashing his high beams at you wanting you to move over for him.. only to learn i ain't moving no where and just took the foot off the gas

There's been studies done. No matter how you drive, it won't make a noticeable impact to where you're going. With turns, lights, other cars, various factors. People are just controlled by emotion and have no self control

When I see these kind of guys in my rear view I make a gap they can use to get around me. If they're gonna crash I don't want it to be into me.
