Yes, those should be age restricted as well. However the age restriction thing I do admit is almost impossible to force. So it would be much more realistic to ban free streaming pern. If you want to be a coomer, you have to whip out dat dere credit card. Same for onlyfans. Social media doesn't exist strictly to distribute pern, so ******** etc would stay, as chitty as they are.

edit: strong irony at face book being censored
I've got some bad news for you if you think the government attempting to impose age restrictions on porn will stop horny teenagers from accessing it

Do you seriously not remember lol'ing at old people attempting to control you that much by the time you were a teenager and knew the tech better than 90% of adults usually do? lmao

That's why the free streaming sites should be taken offline.

On the topic of Pornhub though, so they're throwing a hissy fit instead of complying? I mean how easy would it be to set up verification on their site? Just don't let anyone view it unless they are registered, and if a person is registered make them verify age via credit card or ID in order to view content. That seems like a good common sense step to keep minors from accessing pornographic content. I mean I'm fine with it being blocked altogether. Hopefully more states jump on this and find ways to block the other sites that don't seem to give a fukk about this law.
It's because they WANT kids to access this content. There's a reason they offer all this content for free, and it ain't sexual liberation. The jews run this industry through and through and their goals are to destroy the minds of the youth

Stop 100%? obviously not and nothing will.

Reduce? Of course it will.

And again, it isn’t a new law. It’s simply a new measure to enforce a law that already exists. And again, if it’s so easy to circumvent then why are people complaining so much? Because it will obviously affect things. Plus there are technologies to recognize vpns, so that could also be implemented to further reduce ILLEGAL access.

But I agree with the poster above, one of the best options is to probably get rid of streaming free porn(which is also technically illegal and sharing of pirated material for the most part). So you have to ask…why do they not only refuse to reduce the amount, they go out of their way to absolutely FLOOD the market with the most degenerate sh!t you can think. All for free and unrestricted with regard to access.

The only reason that Jews are in pornography is that we think that Christ sucks. Catholicism sucks. We don't believe in authoritarianism. Pornography thus becomes a way of defiling Christian culture and,as it penetrates to the very heart of the American mainstream(and is no doubt consumed by those very same WASPs),its subversive character becomes more charged.

Also, I was born in 1980 so I'm either a baby gen Xer or an old millennial depending on who you ask. I work in engineering, but my career has always been with small companies, and I've usually ended up doing light IT because I've been one of the more knowledgeable at it and you always wear multiple hats in small companies. As a population, boomers know they're bad with computers and get help. It's always the younger generations, zoomers and below, that overestimate their ability.

No one thinks that pern will be inaccessible to underage kids. We all know that's impossible. However we all know that it was a whole lot harder and more inconvenient back when we were kids to get pern as opposed to now, where the most degenerate extreme chit is a click away on your smartphone.

Your mentality is why cuckservatives will always lose. Let me guess, you're a small gubmint lolbertarian?

Imagine if liberals thought like that. Oh that's right you can't, because they'll steamroll ahead with the full force of government to force their agenda through.

Yes, I too think it’s reasonable for the government to step in and control private businesses because inept parents cannot manage their children’s access to the internet safely.

Don't mind this move and think it should be mandatory across the board to verify age with Credit Card. Porn is definitely having large effects on men these days and there needs to be more education around it.

Is that the same response you have when the govt. steps in to “control private business” by making them ID young people purchasing alcohol or tobacco products??

Or is this different because you’re just used to having an infinite amount of porn at your disposal with zero obstacles in the way?

I don’t like the idea of banning things, but porn is definitely something that would be great for us as a society to be outlawed. Go ahead and shut down only fans too. Force these sex workers back into society.

You will lose even faster if the socially conservative base is dejected.

Earlier in the thread you said Texas is destined to be blue. I agree with that. So even if you're right about this turning Texas blue faster, who cares if it happens a little faster anyway? If Texas will turn blue within a decade regardless, why should conservatives just LDAR instead of going down swinging?

What topics would you say you’re conservative on, and what types of policies that push back against the left’s ongoing march would you support??

Also, you seem to disagree with the policy based on your views that it is wrong and not just because you think it’s bad politically. But either way, if excessive porn use is a problem then doing things to combat it is the right path to take regardless of whether a bunch of liberals are gonna go out and vote against it. People will get what they vote for, like we’re seeing in NYC and other areas.

It just further highlights an aspect of the right’s hypocrisy that I’ve pointed out before. A lot of them want all of the indulgence that goes along with the degenerate hedonism being pumped into our culture from the left, but then they want to also complain about how bad clown world is at the same time. They want a more traditional culture…just don’t do anything to get in the way unlimited porn! They complain about the state of sloots today, then go out and try to fukk a different one every weekend. They complain about the erosion of the family unit then get divorced. It goes on and on. And yes, the left is extremely hypocritical in a lot of ways as well, but hypocrisy certainly isn’t limited to the left.

Controlling private businesses in this situation is literally data farming. It’s not a cashier standing behind a counter, taking a glance at someone’s ID to verify a birthday.

If you think access to PornHub is the only thing that can irreparably damage kids on the Internet, you must have your head up your ass because porn (soft and hardcore) is still available on countless other sites in TX also gore, doxxing, harassment and predators are everywhere.

Again, all of your data is already out there. People have agreed to trade privacy for convenience as I already mentioned earlier in this thread and can go into great detail on the matter if you’d like. There are exactly zero things they get from having you verify your age on a pron site that they don’t already have.

When did I say that?? Or is it easier to just pull things out of your ass? Obviously there are a lot of issues with online presence and we have done a terrible job of keeping up with implementing measures to minimize harm to children and teens. Do you disagree with policies that attempt to reduce the amount of gore children are exposed to? Do you oppose measures intended to combat predators? Or do you just go “omg those aren’t the only dangers online!!”?

I'm fiscally conservative. Anything on the economy, and you might as well call me a Trump minion.

Conservative on 75%+ of social issues at this point, too. I just don't think preventing people from looking at big tittied consenting porn sloots getting railed is feasible, and I consider it a losing issue politically that will ultimately do more to harm conservative movements than help it.

Do you guys plan on putting these same restrictions on OnlyFans and social media as well? How about google images searches? Because you're gonna have your work cut out for ya there

I feel like this is one of those things that starts out well intentioned but then turns into a slippery slope

I don’t want the state know what kind of porn I watch or ever have to put my photo ID on one of these sites

Next thing you know we’ll have to use our ID to buy anything online next

I don’t want the government invading my right of privacy

Why am I punished for bad parenting ?

Thanks for the honest response. Follow-up question to that since you say you’re conservative on 75% of social issues, what types of socially conservative policies would you support(if any)? I’d say a case could be made that lots of socially conservative policies are “losing battles”.

And for the 4,378rd time…this isn’t a ban. It’s just a measure to enforce laws that are already in place. People can still view porn if they are of legal age with practically no issues. And they can still stream an endless supply(which again brings up the point of why our culture is being flooded with this stuff). As far as OnlyFans, I’d say a lot of that is already taken care of since you have to use a payment to access it so in a lot of ways it’s a lot more restricted. Plus it isn’t unlimited access. You can see what is paid for and that’s it. And let’s tie that back to the previous point…all the streaming sites can easily prevent OnlyFans material from being there, yet pretty much all other material is readily available. Why is it ok to not stop that stuff from being pirated? A case could be made that perhaps they want to flood the market with every type of porn imaginable, while also creating a market to turn as many women into porn stars as possible. But yes, I would fine with age verification on that platform as well.

For social media, sure I’m fine with getting porn off of it, or at least making it harder to have. Same with Google searches. I’m fine with making it harder for underage people to access porn regardless of the avenue.
