I can imagine sanctuary states, that often doesn't prosecute crime, such as California would be a nice target for criminal gangs. If you are a person making a living as a criminal, blue states such as California, Illinois and New York, would be good places to make a dishonest living.

They've been reporting on South American tourist gangs for the past 2 or 3 years. I've seen articles from Arizona and Detroit and a few other cities.

Help me out of what mess? I live in a guarded community. No one is allowed to enter unless they are on the visitor's list and provide ID to the guard at the gate. I'm also very interested in border patrol that is actually effective, which I've spoken on ad nauseum.
