I blame the media more than anything. Trump's policies are fairly moderate and common sense. His antics are not even that outrageous, but the media spurged out and acted as if he was a raving madman lunatic. Meanwhile, pundits (like Mark Levin) either pretended he was Satan Incarnate or the 2cnd Coming of Jesus (and he is neither), which further divided people on this.

So, I refute this notion that somehow Trump is uniquely vile and it's his fault entirely that people are divided. People should grow up and own some accountability.

You don't like people acting unhinged? Don't be one of them. Set those who are straight. Be reasonable yourself, a beacon of normality even if everyone else is acting like fools.

The media is the effect with Trump as the cause. The media uses sensationalism for ratings and Trump gives them an overwhelmkng abundance of that.

In non stop unrelentlting perpetuity: provocative personal attacks, insults with completely false claims or far-fetchedness, constant hyperbole when constantly complimenting himself in every speech, a complete lack of humility, an overwhelmingly inflated ego, non-stop lying, hypocrisy done purposefully to portray his lack of shame. He spews lies in record breaking frequncy, amounting to thousands, accompanies that with blatant hypocrisy. The hypocrisy is intentional to portray his lack of shame.

The average person finds him offensive. The conservatives noticed everyone including liberals getting offended so they love him for that. Trump supporters are mesmerized by Trump's audacious portrayal to be a jackass cause everyone else and they want him to be a piece of sht.

About the only positive thing Levin ever did was popularize “Krispy Kreme Christie.” Outside of that, he’s just a hypocritical numbskull with an overly whiny voice. Just like a lot of the Reaganites that went from promoting small government to loving Trumpy’s big government and spending policies.
