If you can get into sort of campy-type action movies, I like one of his older ones in Firebirds.
It has Cage and Tommy Lee Jones. Plus, Apache helicopters that I've always considered the GOAT attack choppers.
"When my opponent contracts, I expand. And when he expands, I contract.
And when the opportunity arrives, *looks at clenched fist* I do not hit with it. It hits all by itself"-Bruce Lee

Like others, I love both "Face/Off" (1997) which I found on Disney+ and will rewatch soon and "The Rock" (1996) which I bought the DVD and rewatched many times.

The cast is awesome:

Sean Connery
Nicolas Cage
Ed Harris
Michael Biehn
William Forsythe
David Morse
John Spencer

and

My love: Claire Forlani

I also watched "Lord of War" (2005) years ago, with two of my favorite actors, I liked it too. But can't remember the details. Want to rewatch it someday.

I re-watched "Face/Off" the last night on Disney+.

It's been decades since the last time I watched it.

My memory played a trick on me. Right before I started re-watching the movie, I assumed Travolta was the bad buy.

After 36 minutes, Cage started to play a good guy and kept doing so until the near end so my mind tricked me into believing Cage was the good guy.

The film circulated into the mainstream news when actor Gary Poulter was found dead in a shallow body of water on February 19, 2013, before the film was ever released. Poulter, who played Wade (the boy's abusive father) in the film, was homeless, suffered from alcoholism and was already seriously ill. His only other acting credit was as a background extra in the TV series Thirtysomething. Producers worried that casting Poulter in the film would be a risk because of his alcoholism, but Green stayed committed to having him in the film. Writing for RogerEbert.com, Peter Sobczynski called Poulter's performance "stunning" and "one of the great one-shot performances in the history of the cinema".in many ways.

I agree, "Knowing" and "National Treasure 1&2" are good and I really enjoyed them.

I'm considering buying a used DVD.

Though it is a black comedy because I must watch any potentially good father-daughter movie.

I decided not to read its plot before actually watching it.

Didn't know this one until your post.

Thanks for sharing. *bow*

Cage is very under-rated as an actor.

Big Daddy in "Kick-Ass".

My favorite make up scene.

National Treasure I & II were two of the first group of movies I watched when I subbed to Disney +.

I have just found this one added to the Amazon Prime lineup.

"The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent" (2023)

Unfulfilled and facing financial ruin, actor Nick Cage accepts a $1 million offer to attend a wealthy fan's birthday party. Things take a wildly unexpected turn when a CIA operative recruits Cage for an unusual mission. Taking on the role of a lifetime, he soon finds himself channeling his most iconic and beloved characters to save himself and his loved ones.Unfulfilled and facing financial ruin, actor Nick Cage accepts a $1 million offer to attend a wealthy fan's birthday party. Dude is on the same level as Tom Cruise and Christian Bale dead srs.
He is amazing and his movies are like "The Anonymous Gift at Christmas," you don't know what's in it until actually open it.

You may find a gem or a bomb, but you can't help but open the box.

I must rewatch it soon.

Thanks for posting, brother! *bow*
