Trump is famous not for his intellect, but because he was brave enough (or crazy/dumb enough) to stand up against the propaganda machine. He exposed the large scale cooperation of propaganda and growing liberalism/socialism arm, and that's great because that was the biggest threat to the US.

As a trade off, you have to have Trump to do it, which means you get a less than ideal candidate.


Going forward, you'll get intelligent candidates who are no-longer afraid to call out the propaganda machines and hyper liberalism, which is the best of both worlds. Think of Vivek. Intelligent, but "like Trump", he calls it like he sees it.

I think Trump was ultimately a good thing and should be supported so that we get future candidates who are like him, but intelligent versions, because they will lead to fixing the country. Without him, the right would be afraid to call out the propaganda machine.

yeah you pretty much had to have someone like trump to really get the ball rolling. someone super famous, far from perfect, rubbed shoulders with all the politicians from both sides for decades, could entertain, not afraid to call it like it is because he's already rich/70+ yrs old....also not groomed by the establishment for 25+ years like all the other butt kissing politicians. trump has been a great whipping boy that could take it all, not be silenced and still command an audience. he sorta opens the door for future candidates to go even more to the right.

trump opened the door to the massive amount of right wing media we see today...i don't remember nearly as much prior to 2016. he also drove a huge wedge between the people and the media and that is probably his great contribution to humanity. trust in the media is at all time lows...as should be. no one with a huge audience really confronted them before trump.

Trump is already ahead, and he could easily end Kamala's political career on debate night.

That being said they will definitely try to cheat. In 2020 they used mail-in ballots. In 2022 AZ governor race they had an error with the voting machines. In 2024 they will use the illegals.

Some estimates have swing states like PA coming down to just 10k votes in certain ridings. Very doable to cheat.

Trump just needs to increase his gap with his debate performance.

People say the VP doesn't matter, but I think trump would be in much better shape had he picked someone that was a compliment to hisweaknessinstead of picking someone that is just like him. Kamala went with some old white guy when she could have easily and predictably picked some minority woman like Stacy Abrams. Out of everything she's done, thats been her smartest move.

Had trump picked Nikki Haley or Kari Lake or Tulsi (women) or Vivek (young/minority) This election wouldn't even be in question.

I can't stand the propaganda.

I think Trump is interesting and fun. However, he will not get much done because the opposition will be trying to put him in jail, there will be constant media nonsense. I don't know how much Trump can get done in only four years.

On top of that is his VP presidential material?

He doesn't seem like it and if Trump wins who will take over to continue his policies?

I barely consume media news, but it seeps into my brain anyway and I'm not looking forward to it.

On the other hand, I like Harris' tax breaks for the poor. I think they sound great but again, I thought Obama was going to pass National Healthcare, and that turned out of be BS that was worse that imagined.
