There is no offence. It is LEGAL to film people in your own domain (house). Either being consensual or unconsensual, think about it if you had security cameras in your house it's not illegal for them to record people therfore it is not illegal to record by other means.

I wouldn't sell the story to the paper anyway. They would require personal info regarding all parties involved. I'm not willing to disclose this info for a few hundred . Also if the paper "The Sun" is legit in wanting to cover this....They ran a story a long time ago (1988) regarding a football (soccer for you US folk) disaster at a stadium caled Hillsborough (wiki or google "Hillsborough disaster") were a lot of Liverpool supporters (L'pool is my hometown) died. They made false claims about the people of Liverpool, they were stealing from the pockets of dead people/urinating on corpses etc. I would never deal with them. Nobody in Liverpool buys the Sun newspaper in protest of this. Even 20+ years later.

This. People srsly think the sun will make some kind of rape claim out of this??? lol. Why would they do that when genuine rape claims happen multiple times daily. I would have a package of screenshots for evidence. Print them off and have them handy.

You want absolute proof in case "defamation" or "libel" comes up. You want a screenshot of her being set to "engaged" to so and so.
































However.... evidence can be tampered with (in the eyes of the law) and it is not conclusive (screenshots alone).
