Bryan Danielson enters AEW Owen Hart Foundation Tournament...
AEW star Bryan Danielson has declared for this year's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.

On the June 5 edition of AEW Dynamite, a fired-up Danielson delivered a promo where he said he had his sights set on winning the tournament and then going on to challenge for the AEW World Championship at All In.

During the promo, 'The American Dragon' noted that his last year as a full-time professional wrestler hasn't gone exactly as he had planned due to several high-profile losses. However, he vowed to do what he could to go out on top in what was his 'last shot'.

As for Danielson, the former WWE and ROH Champion will be going into the 2024 tournament banged up, with Danielson claiming he will need surgery 'pretty soon'.

Tony Khan recently discussed Danielson's AEW future, saying that he'd like him to stay with the company in some capacity 'forever'.

Why did Vince book Scott Steiner as a face against HHH? It made zero sense.
The short answer is that HHH got that opportunity just like he got many opportunities in the company because he wws plowing the CEO's daughter.

Vince single handedly ruined Steiner's brief run in WWE by booking him as a face. Big Poppa Pump as a face was never ginna work, he was a guy who always had to be a heel. Yeah his foot was messed up when he signed on and he tried to hide it until he had his money locked in, but he still performed well enough to work around it until it healed better.

TNA Against All Odds (2007) Review
Starts with a hilarious promo package about Christian being an instant classic “greater than sliced bread”

Team 3D vs LAX - Little Italy Street Fight:
Good hardcore opener. Hernandez flies over the top rope hit in face by Devon with a chair, random strippers dancing, Homicide used a pizza cutter on Brother Devon busted him open badly. Brother Ray uses a cheese grater on Homicide. The Latino Nation run in with Konan in a wheelchair to help LAX win - really good hardcore match.

Jeremy Borash interview with Austin Starr (Aries). Bob Backland appears in the background and interrupts.

Austin Starr vs Senshi (Low Ki/Kaval):
Ok match, afterwards Backland comes out and puts him in the cross face chicken wing and takes Starr away.

Backstage promo with Christian Cage, Tomko and Scott Steiner. Tomko and Steiner bicker and Steiner wants him to clean his sunglasses.

Christy Hemme vs The Big Fat Oily Guy - Tuxedo Match:
Win by stripping opponent of their tuxedo. Joke match and Hemme wins.

Promo - Viewing party for Paparazzi Productions movie. Ms Brooks attempts to seduce Eric Young, first part of the movie.

Dale Torborg with some MLB baseball player vs. Lance Hoyt with some baseball guy:
I didn’t pay attention to this and don’t know baseball so didn’t care.

Back to Paparazzi Productions viewing party, now featuring Big Sexy Kevin Nash! Eric Young starts to get seduced by Ms Brooks who is trying to get him to sign a contract with Robert Roode Incorporated.

“The Phenomenal” AJ Styles vs. “The War Machine” Rhino - Motor City Chain Match:
This is a bull rope style match but with a chain. A weapon of choice on a pole for Rhino – nightstick and on another pole the chain key for AJ styles to escape the chain to be able to use high flying moves. Rhino gets the nightstick but Styles low blows him with the chain and uses the stick. Styles gets the key and unlocks himself from the chain and can now do high flying moves. Styles shortens the chains and cuffs the other end of the chain to the ropes. Rhino manages to hit the gore but can’t pin cause of the length of the chain won’t allow him to reach Styles. Earl Hebner helps out by kicking the key to Rhino and he unlocks himself. Gets a table out and tries to gore him through the table by Stles moves out the way and he puts himself through the table. Styles pins him and wins. Really good match!

Back to the Paparazzi Party viewing party with the last part of the movie. Ms brooks manages to seduce EY he signs the contract. Brooks and Robert Roode leave with the contract as EY waits in the hotel room thinking he will score with Ms Brooks. Bob Backland crashes the viewing party and goes on a moral fit. Funny stuff.

X Division Championship Match - Jerry Lyn vs. Chris Sabin (c):
Decent match, good storyline – old vs. new, 43 years old vs. 24 years old, student vs. mentor.

Promo – Robert Roode and Ms Brooks with Eric Young. Roode berates his new employee EY.

Christian Cage backstage interview- Cage says Tomko and Steiner will work together to help him defeat Kurt Angle.

“Cowboy” James Storm and Jacqueline vs. “Maple Leaf Muscle” Petey Williams and Gail Kim. - Mixed Tag Team Match:
Good match, Gail Kim was really good in ring. Storm and Jackie win.

“The Icon” Sting vs. “The Monster Abyss” with James Mitchell - Prison Yard Match:
You win the match by putting your opponent in the solitary confinement cage and locking it. Barbed wire around the ring post, confinement cage with barbed wire on it. The match starts outside the impact zone and the prison cage is lowered into the ring and works its way into the ring. The outside backstage area set up like a prison yard. In the pre match video package Sting reveals Abyss’ past secret of shooting his father with 3 bullets and put him in a coma but he survived. Really good pre match promo for the story summary. Good hardcore brawl outside to start. Throwing lots of stuff, Sting splashes Abyss through a table from a dumpster. Abyss smashed a siren light over stings head. Sting power bombs Abyss through a barbed wire table from half way up the solitary confinement cage. Sting locks abyss in the cage and wins then chokes Mitchell, security comes to aid Mitchell. Great hardcore match.

Backstage JB interviews an intense Kurt Angle.

Main Event time!

NWA World Heavyweight Championship Match – “The Instant Classic” Christian Cage (c) with Tomko and Scott Steiner vs. Kurt Angle with Samoa Joe as the Unofficial Special Enforcer
If Cage gets DQ’ed he loses the NWA title. Styles interferes, ref bump Tomko comes in takes out Joe, attacks Angle but Angle Germans him, Scott Steiner comes in with a pipe but swings wildly and misses Angle throws him out. Joe takes out Tomko, Angle doesn’t want Joe’s help. Joe suicide dive to take out Tomko and Steiner on the outside. In the ring Angle with the Ankle lock, Cage taps but ref is out, uses the pipe to hit Angle to break the Ankle Lock. Christian hits Angle with the Unprettier, Christian retains the NWA title. Good main event match.

Good PPV overall. Lots of good fun matches and stories.

Make you own AI-generated song about modern wrestling
Gotta give Bodhy (from another section) some mad props, he made a thread about an AI song generator -- it's fuking cool as chit.

Made a song about Tony Khan and AEW, tell me what you think...

Do you think Wrestlemania 41 will be very interesting if it's a 5 match show?
Ofcourse this thread is out of curiousity only, but it is not far from reality...that way you can have a loaded card featuring only top tier 5 matches like you know best of the best...you can have every match like 30 minutes or so and fans would still buy into it coz they would be your top tier matches....and in breaks you could do some interesting segments...

Imagine if Wrestlemania 41 looked like this:

Rock/Reigns for the undisputed world title
Punk/Rollins for the WHC
Cody/Gunther in a no holds barred match
Orton/Knight
A 6 way ladder match for the IC title featuring Drew, Damian, Styles, Owens, Zayn, Gable....

Do you like this kind of idea?

matt hardy coming to tna overweight back in 2011
fat hardy brother in tna .
On January 9, 2011, Hardy made his debut for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) at the Genesis pay-per-view, as part of the stable Immortal. He was the surprise opponent for Rob Van Dam, and defeated him to prevent Van Dam from receiving a match for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, held by Hardy's brother Jeff. In the main event, Hardy attempted to interfere in Jeff's World Heavyweight Championship match with Mr. Anderson, but was stopped by Van Dam, which led to Jeff losing both the match and the championship.[146] On the January 13 episode of Impact!, the Hardy Boyz reunited to defeat Anderson and Van Dam in a tag team match, following interference from Beer Money, Inc.[147] On February 13 at Against All Odds, Van Dam defeated Hardy in a rematch.[148]

On the following episode of Impact!, Hardy, along with the rest of Immortal and Ric Flair, betrayed Fortune.[149] On March 13 at Victory Road, Hardy was defeated by Flair's previous protégé, A.J. Styles.[150] On April 17 at Lockdown, Immortal, represented by Hardy, Abyss, Bully Ray and Ric Flair, were defeated by Fortune members James Storm, Kazarian and Robert Roode and Christopher Daniels, who replaced an injured A.J. Styles, in a Lethal Lockdown match.[151] On the April 21 episode of Impact!, Hardy faced Sting for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, Hardy's first World Title match in TNA, but was defeated.[152] The following month, Hardy was granted a shot at the TNA World Tag Team Championship against Beer Money, Inc. (James Storm and Robert Roode). While the champions looked to defend the title against the Hardy Boyz, Matt instead introduced the returning Chris Harris, Storm's old tag team partner, as his partner for the title match.[153] The match took place at Sacrifice, where Storm and Roode retained their titles.[154]

On June 21, it was reported that TNA had suspended Hardy.[155][156][157][158] On August 20, Hardy was released from TNA following a DUI arrest that occurred earlier that same day.[159]

is this game worth getting just to make a few jabronis tap to mjf's salt of the earth fujiwara armbar?

Bron should take the Seth rollins title at Summerslam
Continue to book this guy like a monster and have him SQUASH the champion in the main event at summerslam.

This will instantly elevate the belt up to the level of Cody's belt, and you can have a monster heel world champ and a white meat baby face universal champ

The world title needs to be moved up in people's view from where it is now (intercontinental level)

Make bron the new brock lesnar and give it to him, it's the only way. The champion makes the belt and bron is the only guy with upside to match Rhodes.

Why does WWE always screw up Joshi wrestlers?
I sometimes keep an eye on the Joshi scene and Cornette is right about a lot of it being crap, but I think that it has the biggest range between absoloute trash and absoloute GOATED

Theres one I like at the moment Utami Hayashi****a who is incredible, she's an absoloute beast, a Joshi with size (she's bigger than Natty for example) , a powerhouse, a technician, she's got charisma, she looks believable and she's only 25.

The sad thing is though, if she went to WWE you just KNOW it would only be time before they had her running around like an idiot yelling in unintellegable Japanese, acting like a buffoon and being fed to, and I'm sorry to say this but the talentless American black women that they love feeding the Japanese women to.

Also Giulia is coming in soon who's also incredible bit see the above.

It sucks ass because I love watching the top Joshi talent but it's hard being in japanese language and also joshi stuff is just weird, after the matches they talk to each other for ages in the ring and cry and I don't understand it.

I wish wwe or even sigh AEW would feature them properly.

WWE Clash at the Castle Scotland/2024
WWE has already announced that Damian Priest will defend his world heavyweight title against Drew McIntyre (who is wrestling at his home)...and is likely to win the title.....however I gotta feel a bit for Damian to lose the belt so early....but is there a small chance Judgment Day might help Damian win this one???? Anything can happen....

Seems like Cody is gonna be rested for this PPV....

Still no Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns....

AEW Forbidden Door 2024
Swerve Strickland is gonna defend his world title against Will Ospreay...I think Ospreay will win the world title (also is the international champion at the same time)...and he will defend the world title against MJF at All In 2024...possibly the biggest fresh match for AEW at this point....if Swerve loses I gotta feel for him to lose the world title so early....

Also announced is a fatal four way ladder match for the vacant TNT title...Konosuke already in it...that should be fun...

Fuark. That's rough.

Imagine dating (possibly) the hottest chick ever in WWE for multiple years and then breaking up. Especially when you're average looking and a c-level wrestler.

Top 5 female heels in wrestling history
1. Stephanie McMahon. Heat machine. She could incite the crowds like no other with her facial expressions, her promos, and everyone hated her. she is the best heel of all time when we are talking women in wrestling.
2. Trish Stratus. She could be a face too but played a better bitch role.
3. Lita. Became a great heel and got heaps of heat based on her real life cheating sloot ways.
4. Sensational Sherri. The best to do it in her day. Greatest in the golden era. She was scary. Had a very nasty streak and temper in the ring and cheating for her man as a valet.
5. AJ Lee. If she hadn’t left the business so damn young she’d have been on Trish’s or Stephanie’s level imo.

Orton Screwed, "Paul Levesque" backs Gunther

Paul said,

"Didn’t even really seem controversial to me, it just seemed like Randy Orton’s shoulder wasn’t down."

despite the match ending with similarities to the Montreal Screwjob, Paul said this,

"The referee’s decision is final. GUNTHER is your King of the Ring."

Orton has yet to comment.

Gunther is celebrating his win.

If Bron is booked liked Goldberg, why isn't AOP booked like the Road Warriors?
Seriously, no problem with how Bron is being booked and since AOP is with Ellering they should be booked as unstoppable. The 2 biggest guys in the company are getting booked like chumps getting tossed around by the 130lbs New Catch Twinks. They should be booked like monsters in squash matches and 30 second victories just like Bron. Otherwise what the hell is the point of Ellering even being there. Same goes for Cross. Truth and Miz are a joke and so is Judgement day. Who else is left besides Street Profits and New Catch? What happened to Trips "shaking things up" and "we ain't seen nothing yet"?

How much did Logan Paul pay Triple H to wrestle Cody?
US title isn't on the line either.

C'mon, man. They're doing LA Knight dirty.

Heck, even Chad Gable would've been a better matchup.

There can be only one, brother
I wasn’t aware that the Hulkster was so close to being the star of 80s move Highlander, brother.

I guess he was too busy running wild in the WWF and with Rocky 3.

Looks like Hogan spoke about it in 2011. Must be true, bother…it was in a Hogan interview.
