Pretty much a confirmed rumor at this point. Max should destroy him at 155 but 170 could be a whole different story given the size discrepancy. That being said, major miscalculation from the UFC. Could've made this a BMF title fight, have Max retire Connor, then have a big rematch between Max vs Tuporia

Pretty stacked for a McGregor card. Got Whittaker in the f'ing prelims wtf.

I think Paddy vs BDS was purposely made in case Connor backs out, at least they could salvage the card with a Holloway vs Paddy fight.

That being said Holloway should destroy McGregor but this fight being at 170lbs makes it interesting.

Haven't seen Strickland ever showing anything resembling athletic ability compared to how quickly Chimaev moves around in wrestling etc. Just upright walking forward, with mostly pillow hand jabs.

Only thing speaking for Strickland is Chimaev possibly gassing, but that concern was relevant years ago when had different ppl around him and almost killed himself cutting weight.

I can see why Chimaev's last fight turned out the way it did, as still a bit uncertain about cardio, weight class and so on. Plus his camp in the corner telling him to make it boring to just secure the title. As DDP can obviously be a beast on the feet, why take any chances?


Thinking of even putting a small amt that he knocks Strickland out. He's way bigger now than when they sparred, better conditioned and don't think he respects Strickland's ”power”. So after the shit talk, I wouldn't be surprsied if he decides to spend at least a portion of the five rounds saving energy and just take it to Strickland the way that would humiliate him the most.

Anyways, looks like an interesting card. Have to look into the other fights soon.

Main fight I would guess Ulberg catches Jiri coming in wild at some point, but who knows? If I was in Jiri's camp and seeing how crisp the opponent can be in striking, I'd work and plan for some ground game. Maybe it was a once in a lifetime thing, but Jiri submitted Glover Teixeira after all.

Not gonna pretend to know most fighters here. Just put in tiny bets on 2 fights – Page and the main one..
Movsar (1.4X) vs Lerone (3X) is a bit tricky.

Lerone got a flashy spinning elbow ko his last fight - the last one (ko) before that was 5 yrs ago.

Movsar has 9 fights in the ufc – all wins by decision, which is a bit weird given how good his wrestling seemed against Sterling. Lerone looked physically weak before he got the elbow on pico last, and Movsar looked physically strong against Sterling.

Assume Movsar will try to take him down. Getting it by decision seems most likely given history, but not worth betting on (1,82X.) So put a little on Movsar getting his first sub (8,5X) and various rounds at about 34X.

A bit more active lately and Holloway doesn't seem to have been up against brutal submission ppl or eastern euro wrestlers, so some unknowns there. Assume do bronxs will be more aware in striking, having been knocked out now – and go back to what has worked well. Former champ, that has only faced monsters these last 6 yrs or so.
