Dating a single mother
I'm dating this chick who is an awesome person and very beautiful. Problem is she has a 6 year old kid. She got pregnant at a young age with a black dude and now the dude is completely out of the picture.
I resent the fact she has a kid with another dude, and the fact the kid is black lets everyone know it isn't mine.
I'm struggling tonotview the kid as a constant reminder of the huge mistake she made, but on the other hand I know he's just an innocent kid with no father.
Every instinct within me says not to raise the kid, but that instinct is conflicted with compassion for an innocent child and the love for the woman I am with.
She's also reluctant to have more kids with me, because she believes that would be committing the same mistake she made 6 years ago. However, I believe having kids with her at a ratio of 2:1 to outnumber her mistake, is the best solution for me.
I'm keeping my eyes open to signs that she actually loves me rather than using me as a cuck step-dad for her kid.
What would you do in this situation?
