We don't know what happened before. Maybe he killed ten people before. No point in passing judgement on these sorts of videos until you know the whole story. Otherwise you're just seeing what you wanna see.

In this case, it's a kid standing on the sidewalk, cop pulls up, get's out, and slams him to the ground. Kid didn't say a word.

Do you believe that cops should be allowed to do that?
Why do I need to show a cop ID when the law states that I don't have to?

All the cop defenders say obey the law and chit won't happen but then you follow the law and are somehow in the wrong?

Lol what a *******

without knowing the details I can't really say but even if the kid was attempting to run (he was walking away), still wouldn't justify it

Maybe he threatened a shopkeeper with a knife or some chit, no idea.

Don't really care, this doesn't mean all 50000 police in America are the same

LOL I was arrested at the age of 14 for stealing a 300€ headset from FNAC (media store), was running like a champ from the security guard but some other phucker on the street tackled me, to get to the point: I wasn't screaming like such a pussy beta ******* upon getting arrested, I even laughed it off, than police guy punched me in my ribcage for laughing while I was handcuffed, and I still laughed, aye.

I was making a lot of jokes while the police guy was taking naked pictures & fingerprints & noting personal details of me. One time he said "don't you realize how serious this is? You can aswell spend a night in jail.", in response I was just nodding my head with a smirk on my face, I really had the "anything goes as long as I don't die" mindset.

Me and my friends were causing a lot of mischief back in the day because we knew that at the age of 14 there are no consequences that will follow you for your lifetime, everything will eventually be forgiven, we knew that at the end nothing will matter, every week we did a mischief project, but after what we called "Project FNAC" we took a break from being absolute savages. Hahaha good times.

But still, LOL @ these crying skater *******s, like aren't they rational enough to understand that they will just be sleeping in their own bed that night? Seriously LOL @ u americans living like fkn stressed out chickens.

his arrest was for resisting arrest

Stop letting your emotions over ride logic. This video starts as the cops roll up. For all you know that kid was doing kick flips onto someones table while they were eating lunch prior to the events we witnessed.

holy sh*t, just cooperate you little *******.

and where the fuk is the video before he was grabbed...did it mysteriously disappear by way of edit video, crop and save?

So it seems like all these miscers know the FACTS of what happened without even seeing it...its a little confusing how you all can see into the past or believe on article about it.

Going by the ONLY actual evidence prior to video cropping, the kid was obviously being resistant. Can we actually see the video footage of the cops rolling up and just slamming him to the ground with out saying anything like many of you are pretty much saying.

If thats indeed what happened, obviously these cops went fuking overboard...Id also question the person that called. What did they say these kids were doing. It clearly wasnt "these kids are skateboarding around". Whoever called the cops said more then that.

I am usually pro cop, since my buddy is one and they get a lot of slack even thought most are good, but this was ridiculous.

Jesus man this is what cops are getting paid to do? How pathetic. Throwing down a scrawny 15 year old out of no where lmao. Wow. And for what? Police are meant to uphold the law, but there needs to be some common sense in when to step and when to not waste your time on petty useless stuff.

This video really rustled my jimmies

we don't know what happened before the video, we don't know what this thug was doing
play stupid games win stupid prizes
a skateboard can cause serious injury or death to a cop, he had little time to react and had to quickly control the situation
listen to the cops, obey the law and you wouldn't be in a situation like this
..another dindu nuffin off the streets...

Someone watched Deadpool way too many times...
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

Im pretty sure the City of Tampa is one of the police departments that adopted body-worn cameras for their officers. Probably not department wide yet, I didn't notice any on these officers but its not easy to see from the video. It would be cool if there was one so you could see it from the officers perspective.

Technically you can't, at least where I live/work. If you're not under arrest, but legally detained, and start resisting, it's an obstruction charge.
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a nonlinear, nonsubjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff.
