I've had to restrain teen girls when working security. If you can't restrain a 90lbs woman without it looking like the video then you shouldn't be doing the job. Straight up.

If you had that much trouble, then; your department doesn't train you properly, you're weak, or you have no aptitude for grappling. It's not difficult in the slightest.

The Free Thought Project reported Saturday on the attack, which was recorded by security cameras.

Monique Tillman and her brother were bicycling home on May 24, 2014 when they cut through the parking lot of the Tacoma Mall. Officer Jared Williams, a uniformed white officer of the Tacoma Police Department, was working mall security that day. He pursued the two teenagers — who are black — and informed them that they were trespassing on mall property.

When the girl tried to explain that she and her brother live nearby and routinely cut through the parking lot, Williams became enraged and attacked the girl.

The officer jerked the girl off her bike and began choking her, slamming her against a car and slinging her around like rag doll. He then shocked her with a Taser.

“He was choking me, grabbed me by my hair and tried to slam my face into the concrete. The next thing I know, I’m on the ground being tased,” the girl said.

Williams arrested the teen and charged her with resisting arrest and assault on an officer. The charges were dismissed by the court.

she did everything wrong. she resisted the whole way, so she wasn't helping herself. she made the worst of a bad situation. but the cop should know better, be better, and handled it professionally as he is paid to do. since he did not, he should have some kind of punishment. that being said, he basically went 100% on a situation that needed 50%. so he shouldn't be fired imo, not yet anyways. but he should be in some trouble.

too many people, of all races, think that when cops come... it's a competition of power or who's right and wrong, and let's start yelling and I got rights, blah blah. point is - do everything right. comply 100%. give them the ID. answer the questions. speak as if you were speaking in front of the judge and your life depended on it, because it can. also be friendly and personable, and understanding towards the cop, if you can. if you do those things, you'll almost always be ok. the cop may even apologize to you afterwards.

im the same exact race and look just like her, but as a male. my experience - I've been let off by cops WAY WAY too many times. and im a male, not a female(they get more sympathy). so not only is she not equal with me, but she has been slammed. and in her case, she was barely speeding. whereas with me, I was pulled over going 30 mph over the speed limit before. I was honest with the cop, friendly, and tried to be polite and "cool" with him. not cool as in yo what up homie, but cool as in like I was his next door neighbor or something. anyways he said I was going 15 over(clearly lying, trying to be nice). and he gave me nothing. no ticket, nothing.

another time near Christmas I was going 15 over, and got pulled over. I was just nice, but in this case played nave like I didn't see the speed limit and acted as if I was lost, etc. but I was very nice to the guy and he liked me. I got nothing. in fact he gave me directions, etc, lol.

I have only once been given some ****, and it was legit. but the dude was some ex military guy that was ready to shoot somebody. like this guy was legit crazy and way too intense for the moment. he grabbed his gun at one point. not going into that. dude was just jumpy and scared, plus on a power trip.

point is, if you play the game the right way, you can often get things you don't deserve, but in a good way. you play the game the wrong way, and you can often get things you don't deserve, but in a terrible way. choice is yours.
