You will run into negative everywhere.
If you concentrate on that, you won't accomplish anything.

Donald, 54, is an ex Marine Corp. His wife passed away in 1998, and soon after, his son was taken from him after he fell into drug addiction. It seemed like there was little hope of turning his life around. Meanwhile, the city of Sarasota, Florida, had placed 7 pianos around the area so that anyone could play. He got a record deal after someone heard him playing.

Lesson-your excuses are not enough to keep you down unless you believe them.

Believe it or not in some cases you can find a good girl on Tinder. srs. Very rare though.

My buddy found one of them after I told him to get on the app.

bumping this informative thread. the 28 year old/daughter part brought me to feels town, holy chit. hard to put to words the importance of an early start on education, fitness, and community other than "you should just do it to make more money, make it easier, etc". actual parallels are drawn only after we go through a lot of it and can compare ourselves to others in the same cohort.

Awesome, keeping it real and simple for the 20 year old you. These pieces of advice will NEVER go out of style. Happy birthday, and I hope that despite what didn't know when you were younger, that you're still living the life you always wanted.

At 27 I’ve found life is on a 4 year cycle. 27 year old me looks at 23 year old me and goes mate you knew nothing back then.

23 year old me looks back at 19 year old me and goes what a dumbass.

I concur with OPs thoughts on drinking. I’ve lost the better part of a decade to it already. It’s only in the last two years I’ve made significant strides to success.
