beyond coinbase for BTC LTC and ETH, there's as almost as many exchanges as there are altcoins. I have a coinbase and traded for a while, their 'lockout' and manipulation was enough for me. I setup a kracken for alts, but now that's a terrible exchange I guess, then I was told I need poloniex, but now that's also a bad exchange and binance is 'the best', next month it'll be something else and lol if you use binance.

I understand your point.

Buying the 'top dogs' is easy, but buying some of the lesser known coins (which some people have clued me up on) means dealing with shady exchanges, after transferring coins from reputed exchanges.

I was looking into last night as a noob, and it's a cumbersome process.

Warren Buffet read's like 600 pages of books/financial reports/etc a day since he was lik 18. And he said he used to read way more than that in the early years.

He has been making mad money consistently since the 50s or something like that.

I was never into XRP or TRX. Seemed like scams from the get go. Holy fukk binance is going crazy right now. ETH and NEO is now moving south too. Usually these two never move even during dips.

WB has an abysmal record when it comes to predicting tech value. He has admitted this over and over. He had no faith in Google or Amazon either. You shouldn't take notes when it comes to his opinions on tech investments unless you want to be left behind.

I cashed out my initial investment and then some long ago. If it crashes, that's cool I am using play money anyway. Otherwise, just gonna keep making those x10+ ROI trading and play the long game.

Doesn't surprise me. I've made a bunch of money because there is a huge arbitrage between the bitcoin prices in North America and Korea. Talking about 30% or so. The difficulty was opening up an account on an exchange there because you need a korean phone number a korean bank account to access the exchanges. Luckily one of my co-workers had a friend who lived there and we just transferred money through him and gave him a spread of the profits.

Only issue was the exchange there are slow in executing trades but since the futures market opened we just bought futures contracts to hedge our risk.

Could have made a lot more money but we kept our transactions small to not alert authorities.

CME futures absolutely killed the steam that BTC had going running up to 19k.
