Not sure if this has been discussed here or previous threads so forgive me. I've been in crypto for about 4 years now. Haven't done much mostly holding and some trading but sitting at about over 350% profits so far.

Occasionally talk to my brother in law about this as he is decent with investments. He continually tells me that this entire market will crash once countries develop their own cryptos and make the mainstream coins illegal.

Your chances of making it have left the building boyos. You can still get some juicy gains but these were easy calls for quick profits. Will only grow and won’t dump like chitcoin pumps of the day WINk

Not gonna happen. Bitcoin isn't a company, atomic swaps pretty much eliminated that possibility. Besides, countries are more likely to use a mainstream crypto as a layer in whatever national digital currency they decide to use.

What is your brother in law's timeline for universal CBDC rollout? It has already begun, but IMO universal CBDC will not happen by the end of 2021. We are probably a decade away from that being rolled out in all major nations.

Also, maybe by then the 'uber effect' will have happened. Where it's simply too intertwined in the global financial system that they have no choice but to respect a hybrid system, which is what they seem to be doing. Which is why normie adoption is important, and not just the crypto industry being used as a speculative market.

'The plan' seems to be not to outlaw it completely (wouldn't work anyway, I think they know that) it's to try to create a link between addresses and government ID. IMO they don't care if it's a CBDC or standard crypto, as long as they have an ID attached to the address/transactions. They want surveillance, and they want their Tax.

The FATF plans are not to outlaw crypto, it's to pressure the crypto industry to mandate ID if they let people use their DApps, wallets or currencies. (Please see the link above, as well as below...)

Bill gates already openly bragigng about how he will crash BTC. No one believes him but just like he "predicted" Covid, he will accurately predit the BTC crash. Just hoping it doesn happent too soon.

Neat but they don't have exclusive licensing, that's the thing that'll take it over the top like NBAtopshot did with the NBA. If they can secure some exclusive licensing with these brands then that'd be huge but in the meantime other NFT projects can do the same.

For some brands they have do exclusive licencesdependingon the form of the NFT.

Meaning, for a 3D AR NFT they have an exclusive licences with some brands, but they wouldn't have the 2D or VR exclusive rights.

2D, 3D, AR, and VR licences are all different. Having the rights to one doesn't automatically get you the rights to all. Just like NBA topshots only has the rights to NBA NFT clips, and not to also make physical collectibles, etc.

There is definitely big money actively involved in trying to create that. I've personally come across that in my 'low cap gem hunting'.

Expect with the next 5 years announcements of a big crypto project (think LIBRA level) involving a universal basic income scheme, where each person gets given the crypto based on a wiliness to submit their biometrics 'for identification purposes only, to allocate your portion'.

I'm not phucking around, and I understand it sounds 'schizo' to some people, but you'll see... Unfortunately. It's one reason why I want to invest not just in projects that will make cash, but ones that will actually help decentralization and privacy.

wow there seem to be plenty of alts that have gone ape sht. i just saw that wazirX (WRX) went something like 15x in a month. i believe thats just some indian based exchange

we are getting to a point where all you have to do is have a substnantial amount of almost any alt coin. just hold that sht.

the key is to have a substantial amount. i find that too many are busy jumping from project to project chasing pumps. which is a fail strategy. now is not the time to hold a sht ton of projects imo. make your money now! diversify later after you have captured that oh so beautiful wealth

i find that the projects that do have real sht going for them will ultimately pump the hardest. it does get painful seeing empty projects moving hard before legit ones though. fully acknowledge that. i know of one that has been promising a mobile app for a couple years. i think the new release date is next month. and they still have a cult following. fcking clown world

M8 you should the check the charts of things you buy. You bought ANKR at the top right after it got listed on Coinbase and pumped like 3X. Right now is just random pump and dumps of chitcoin happening in mass. People are taking coins that are doing 20 mil daily volume and putting 3.5+ billion into them which is causing the increase. 3.5 bil for reference is more volume than BNB does which is the #3 mcap coin. It’s complete . You just need to find the low cap low volume cheap coin on Binance and throw money at it
