Slavery was not caused by white men it was caused by Abrahamic religion...

So was every other atrocity in recent history. Colonization, conquering, enslavement, etc. These religion also raped Europe of its cultural heritages just like It did Africans and Native Americans.

I don’t think it was necessarily caused by religion.

I think the characteristics in humans that led to religion, led to slavery. Not that one caused the other, but that they are both the results of similar traits.

How do you explain the ancient Egyptians having slaves or the ancient Chinese or the Native Americans before any Europeans came?

Also, while I do acknowledge the fact slavery predates Abrahamic religion, there is zero evidence to support the claim that an entire civilization was enslaved in Egypt, then all of the sudden had a mass migration out. Not having evidence to support a claim is fine, but due to the significant nature of the claim, resulting in a reasonable expectation for evidence, and the fact the Bible is objectively wrong in many other claims it makes, well.... I wouldn’t use the Bible as a source to rely on historical accuracy of events.

Most slaves that went to the usa, were already slaves in africa. You had slaves in the roman empire days as well and before that.

I love how you say there is zero evidence and then mention the primary evidence. It actually makes a lot of sense for people to be enslaved by Egypt during it's heyday.

Slavery existed long before Abrahamic religions. Bronze Age/Iron Age Civilization existed long before Abrahamic religions and slavery was a central component to it. Likewise pagan tribes in Europe took each other as slaves all the time. Slavery is actually a very standard thing for humans to do when one group conquers another. Western civilization, composed of White people, is the only thing to ever outlaw it and put an end to it.
