I had covid and while I can’t support this with anything real I think that there is a difference between obese (BMI) and out of shape.
Covid to me felt like my baseline was a constant slow walk (althou I was actually at rest), so everything I did was exertion on top of that. Mildly short of breath walking up stairs, and a few mins to recover. There are people with higher BMIs that can handle this and probably thinner physically inactive (I mean VERY inactive) people that can’t.

Of course, statistically those out of shape people would be fat.

Just die to the nature of his job, trump isn’t inactive.

Editbviously there are genetic and physiological variants that can worsen things and other issues like hypercoagulability, greater immune responses (cytokines storms etc.).

I was guessing to myself it would be a quick time at the hospital for President Trump. Most wouldn't go to the hospital, but since he is President precautions were made. At least that was my guess.

If he was taking remdesivir, then this is unlikely. Remdesivir is a 5 day course of medication that needs to be administered by IV drip so he would need to be in the hospital.
