I'd guess it's becasue Barr isn't shoveling chit and twisting words.

Mueller already set the record straight by writing a report.

All Barr did was make a basic statement to appease the base that wasn't interested in any of the details.

They aren't going to bicker about it.

There's no chance that anything revelatory is going to come out if the full report is released. But they should release more of it though for transparency's sake. They spend two years on this investigation. It'd be a shame if it was never released.

I don't believe it was truly a "summary". Even if it was, it would inherently lack the content required to determine if it was satisfactory or not.

Barr can certainly be generally correct in his statements without being 100% forthcoming.

Anyways, I don't expect people to simply have faith in Barr's words.

The thesis of the Mueller report (be it 300 or 700 pages it doesn't matter) is that there is NO COLLUSION. You can wait two more weeks to find out the details of how they reached that conclusion, but the breaking news is that there will be no indictments and there's no evidence Trump, or anyone in his campaign, colluded with the Russians.

The real story should be— when will the IG report on fisa abuse drop?

Mueller is done. Russian collusion was dead in 2017. Mueller and Rosenstein milked a dead cow for years until Barr took over and said enough is enough. Let’s get to the bottom of the real scandal now.
