Just starting watching Orange is the New Black. It's going to really divert me away from finishing Star Trek.

What shows are people into? I was hanging out with my Austin friends over the weekend, got three recommendations:

- Kevin can go **** himself (Netflix)
- The Patriot (Amazon)
- Wayne (bought only Amazon, formerly youtube original)

The Kevin show has an interesting premise but wasn't really entertaining me. I liked the first two episodes of The Patriot, I may go back to it. "Wayne" is the one I got hooked with, already almost done with the first (and sadly only) season. Good writing, good characters, very violent, a lot of fun.I hadn't watched Fox in years, other than to occasionally tune in and watch maybe the first 15 minutes of Tucker or something.

When my old man was in the hospital back in June, they had the TV on Fox so I watched a lot more of it for longer periods. My take aways:

- Where are all the hot chicks? Way muted in 2024. Fuking #metoo movement did a number there.
- The coverage was masks off, no longer even pretending to be "fair and balanced" it was pure right-leaning propaganda. Non-stop anti-Biden coverage at the time, prior to his drop out.

Overall, pretty disappointing. All media have let us down.Did you eat the pizza? I'm fairly certain they do not have cooties, but no long term study has been done on this yet to prove it, so you might want to wash your private parts after eating it, if you did. Might want to run a hose over your anus too, just to be careful. Stay safe, bro.

Johnny lolol. I remember it but I didn’t remember posting that here.
I had to take “her” pen and sign for my meal and “she” handed the 2 XL pizzas, cinnamon sticks, and 24 wings to me and I handed pen back. If I wanted to use them I would have punched him right in the face for his views.

I love Fox News, bbc, Australia sky news, Al Jazeera English, and others. I don’t like cnn. Newsmax is more conservative than fox but I find them boring.

And my favorite which I watch every day of my life, the 700 club, amen!! No serious on that last one.

Not familiar with the last one, but I think you'd get a kick out of Wayne. Here's ep1, it's free on youtube. My bud sailed the high seas on a Plex he shares with me for the rest of the season, but I went ahead and bought it on Amazon. It's also available I guess if someone still bothers w/ Youtube Premium. Which, changing the subject, I might do - I watch a bit of youtube and wouldn't mind not seeing the ads.

I'm 6 episodes into the last season of Star Trek TNG, I watched the first episode in 2012. Just when I thought I was finally at the end, I get derailed by The Rookie. Now Orange is New Black has further derailed me.

It's a good show and I didn't even think I'd enjoy it. I must say, though, that female prisoners just have this really unattractive quality about them. And that tampon sandwich scene early on.....that chit could turn a man gay!
