He might be discharged tomorrow for sure. They wouldnt lie to us. They just don't mention if it will be with/without a ventilator or with/without a bodybag.

If Trump is doing so well, there's no way they'd prescribe him Dexamethasone. Dexamethasone is only given to patients who are severe, as it's dangerous in patients who have a mild or moderate case.
The doc can only reveal to the public what Trump tells him to. So take anything the doc says with a huge grain of salt. He's already contradicted himself several times

Based on the little research I’ve done, the drug typically is given later in the lifecycle of the virus. I assume the doctors are taking extra measures where you and I would wait to receive that type of treatment. If he is severe, we wouldn’t be seeing videos or tweets.

It's one of two situations:
1. Trump is doing worse than stated
2. Trump demanded all possible treatments and the docs gave in because he's the president.
Either one is possible

I don't know **** about Dexamethasone, but according to NIH and docs that have spoken on it, it's only supposed to be given in severe cases because of the side effects. So either Trump is doing worse than they say, or he demanded the doc give him stuff even when he shouldn't.

What are the typical side effects of dexamethasone?
Dexamethasone is generally safe. It presents a favourable benefit-risk profile, particularly in patients with severe forms of pneumonia, while the benefit is less prominent in patients with non-severe pneumonia. As the treatment is short, even at high doses, corticosteroids are not associated with serious side effects. Potentially higher blood glucose levels (hyperglycaemia) are temporary.
Prolonged use (I.e., used for more than two weeks) may be associated with adverse events such as glaucoma, cataract, fluid retention, hypertension, psychological effects (e.g., mood swings, memory issues, confusion or irritation), weight gain, or increased risk of infections and osteoporosis.
To reiterate: All these adverse events are not associated with short term use (with the exception of hyperglycaemia that can worsen diabetes).

Early findings suggest COVID-19 patients who do not have severe symptoms, such as requiring a respirator, should not take dexamethasone.
"The downside of steroids is that it's not selective," Ogbuagu said. "It's a double-edged sword that may hinder your body's ability to fight the virus."
He noted that some studies have found higher mortality rates in people who used steroids, since they inhibit the body's immune response to the virus.
The World Health Organization and other organizations advise against using steroids earlier in the course of illness because they can impede clearing the virus.
Ogbuagu also says that steroids, in general, may cause some severe side effects, such as new or worsening diabetes, as well as psychosis or emotional disturbance.

Google it, the medical websites don't act like its a big deal, the news tabloids are echoing your view that its an act of desperation.https://www.webmd.com/drugs/2/drug-1...e-oral/details
Even if it is something over the top, thats what happens when you matter to the world.... Think if you think you tore your ACL vs a pro athlete tears his ACL. The pro athlete gets a MRI ASAP, and world class recovery, even experimental chit like stem cells...
Meanwhile for the average person, the dr will tell you to come back in a few weeks, give you an MRI reluctantly, and then go from there...
