I don’t know where you get your news from, but race is always mentioned when the perp/shooter/murderer is white. That is a fact.

I think it’s stupid, regardless of who kills who, to make race a topic when someone gets killed. It doesn’t help anyone, yet the media continues to do it as if they’re trying to incite a race war.
Well if when an Islamic terrorist attack happens, religion becomes a topic because it was the motivation for attack - I'd assume we'd treat it the same when a terrorist attack is carried out by a white supremacist ideologue.

I didn't see race mentioned as much in Oklahoma, Aurora, Sandy Hook, Columbine, Vegas, Tuscan etc. etc. despite being committed by white men. There was just a lot of talk about mental health and gun control

Liberals ITT are more pissed at this letter than they are at the actual shooting. LOL

Muslims kill exponentially more of themselves than anyone else does by far. Why no outrage at that? Pretty dumb logic.

Do you actually understand that people can be upset about more than one thing?! This was a massive hate/terrorist attack on a group of people and 49 innocent people lay dead at the feat of a madmen and this guy blamed an entire culture for it.

He might was well wrote the killers manifesto as the killer said the exact same ****.

You can be mad at whatever you want. I never hear any outrage from liberals about Muslims killing other Muslims/non-muslims

Correct me if I'm wrong but there's never been an Islamic terror attack in NZ, and the perpetrator is Australian, and he went out of his way and caused the worst terror attack in the country's history.
Did actual New Zealanders have a problem with those victims? Did the shooter know any of them?

The shooter didn't unload on an ISIS training camp, he gunned out innocent people, and now the senator is blaming the victims.

Imagine an aboriginal mowing down WASP Australians and a politician excusing it because of the aboriginals concern of the growing WASP population > a WASP's right to live in peace in?

Islam is waging a global war to bring down western civilization and your rationale is "never mind the atrocities a barbaric religion causes around the world, it hasn't happened here yet".

Any reasonable person can see the time to bring up your gripes with Islam & the west isn't after Muslim's (who aren't "warriors" but innocents) get murdered by someone who hates them for existing in the wrong land, let alone blame them for making the gunman kill them.
And you don't make one brand of terrorism look reprehensible (Islamic) by being a terrorist sympathizer for another (WN), you're just using their logic.

So why does white supremacist terrorism get a pass? So far they've massacred a mosque, a Jewish synagogue, a historic black church, a Sikh temple, if you're anti terrorist why is there more outrage against Muslims when they're the victims than white supremacist terrorists when they're the perps?

Imagine a Muslim apologist talking about the destruction America/Israel/the West has caused in the Middle East the same day as an Islamic terror attack, that's what this senator sounds like

You call it white supremacy because you want it to be because it allows Islam to yell racism while it uses western civilization's compassion for infiltration.

Muslim isn't a race, its a set of backwards war-like ideas.

The guy who did this was more than likely believing in a preemptive strike in a religious war.

I call it white supremacy because he was a white supremacist

Muslim isn't a race, nor is it an idea.

This guy was only a soldier in his own mind, he would've likely lived out his life in peace in Australia but will instead rot in a cell forever and took 50+ innocent lives with him because he decided they don't don't deserve to live or belong in New Zealand...And that sounds right to you?

The fact you're making it sound like what he did was self defense, I don't even have to question whether you agreed with what he did or not. But no sane, reasonable person would agree it's right to murder innocent people because of a war in your head, only a terrorist would agree with that logic.

A common (and stupid) piece of propaganda. Islam has been destabilised every since the alleged "prophet" died without naming a successor (great prophesying). It's been at war with either itself of everyone else, or both, for 1400 years.

No one is defending the shooter, they are just attempting to discuss the part about how certain things going on in the world today could cause an unstable person to decide to go kill a bunch of people who are worshiping their religion which says they should be happy if he(the gunner) died.

To stick your head in the ground over every issue is mind-boggling. Because 49 were killed we aren't allowed to talk about Islam? Da fuk kind of sense does that make.

How about this. If you pray to a god that encourages you to kill non-believers and preaches hate and intolerance, it is not unheard of that someone crazy person tries to kill you. It happens daily in the middle east.

Today was a day I realized exactly where the misc is on things. While it was obvious this place is fukked up, it reached an insanely low level today.

White supremacists are a massive massive threat to security world wide and it won’t change bc no one will address it.
