Can you imagine what the retard crew would have been saying if 2 months into a 4 day targeted strike russia was occupying 0% of ukraine while begging for a deal

After 4 years and 350K Russian dead and probably twice that number injured, they only occupy about 20% of Ukraine.

Of course one could make the argument thats been going on for at least a decade now since they took Crimea?

Using Meduza an anti-Kremlin research institution based out of Lativa who has been keeping track of Russian KIAs, they estimate Russian KIA at 350k, and they use different methods to get actual confirmation of killed soldiers. That sounds about right to me tbh.

Ukraines initial 600k active troops have basically been wiped out at this point, hence why they no longer have eager men in Ukraine who are heading to the enlistment office as they did in Feb 2022.

So Id guess Kievs KIA is at least 3x-4x more than what Russia has. Russia has 10x the artillery, drones, FPV drones, FAB bombs, missile strikes, its all in favor of Russia. Whatever KIA numbers Russia has, Kiev is much worse just based on that. Russia has switched over to attritional warfare, a slow grind. No more big major counter offensives. Its too difficult in the age of drones.

And based on how desperate Kiev talks about the lack of men at the front, the vast amount of videos we get coming out of Ukraine showing officers hunting men down in the streets. Their numbers have to be much higher.

Our leaders love to say that Russia is losing much more, 50k a month is what I've seen claimed, but they need to make it seem like Russia is in a desperate situation, so they will throw out numbers like that. Because it helps the perception that giving billions to Ukraine is working to defeat Russia (its not)

Neither side is having a good time at the end of the day. But Russia has every advantage, including time.
On spread.

20% seems a lot higher than 0, especially against a nato military rather than sand people

On the flip side

- Ukraine population drop from 45 to 25mil
- 1mil men dead + disabled, I think, is a very fair estimate, likely more
- 25% territory lost if the war ends as is
- hundred of billions in debt
- Ukraine economy is dependent on the EU from now on.

Russia adds millions of ethnic Russians to its census that it lost due to the fall of the USSR

NATO/European Union invested billions they don't really have into a proxy war they still lose, including shooting themselves in the foot by not buying gas/oil/other resources in trade with Russia (all tho they still buy it, just via third party, like India, so EU pays a premium now)

Russia has now annexed the most valuable parts of Ukraine. East Ukraine held the majority of the wealth for Kiev .

As you can see by the map, the majority of minerals/natural resources are in parts that Russia controls.

The biggest losers when this conflict ends will be Brussels (European Union) and, unfortunately, Ukraine. Ukraine will become a welfare state that will continue to suck dry Brussels financially. They won't have an economy, their population is gone, and it will further decline once the borders are opened. Ukraine will continue to see further exodus.

So it is true, this was more difficult than Putin expected because NATO went full on support for Kiev...Ukraine would have folded if not for Biden/NATO pouring in billions financially and militarily. Russia will still be able to come out as the winner, unless something drastic happens that makes Russia collapse.

And this is if the war ends soon. But if doesn’t, it gets worse for Ukraine.

the thing about attritional warfare is that it’s slow moving, until it isn't. Currently, time is on Russias side. Ukraine is continuing to struggle in recruiting men, and the harder it becomes to send men to the front, the harder it becomes to hold back Russian advances. Sooner or later, if this conflict doesn't end, the front lines will break in a major way because of Ukraine's lack of men fighting. And then the benefits of attritional warfare will be seen quickly.

It is in Kievs interest to end this before that happens. Time is ticking

Absolutely, no doubt Ukraine is the biggest loser in all of this. Obviously minus the protected class.

It's going to take many years after when all the dust settles to see how and what Russia gained from this.

Of course 20 is bigger number than 0, but when 100% was the goal compared to 0% for us, then that 20/0% becomes more relative.

Obviously I haven't read much of this thread, but I get the feeling that you and many here are Russian first advocates while bashing other Americans who simply inserted Israel for Russia??

Strange.

I don’t think we need years for that.

The crappy thing is, back in April 2022, during talks between Moscow and Kiev hosted by Turkey, both sides had basically reached a settlement and were close to signing it, when UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson intervened to talk Zelensky out of it.

This is a clear NATO proxy war, sacrificing Ukraine in the hopes of collapsing Putin.

Yea, Russia wanting 100% as the goal, is a false narrative spread by MSM and Western leaders. Just like the false narrative of Russia claiming they would take Kiev in 3 days, they never claimed such a thing. It was spread by General Mark Milley... Our leaders put goals in Russias mouth, and then the rest of MSM and the public runs with it, spreading it as if its fact... So then they can point the finger and say "look, Russia failed at its goal" (a goal Russia never stated to begin with)

4 years into this conflict, and I still see so much misinformation. Propaganda is a helluva drug

Russia never said they want all of Ukraine. And there are obvious reasons why they don't. Now, Eastern Ukraine is a different story.

Moscow got wrecked today

https://www.reddit.com/r/CombatFootage/s/MozOiFHsCD

The front line is stuck since a couple of years and Ukraine is gaining advantage fast with long and medium range strike drones. Crimea is cut off supplies and major cities like Moscow and Saint Petersburg can't defend the drone swarms anymore. Gas has to be rationed.
Putin won't be able to achieve his military goals with the current means. He has made a chain of wrong decisions since he decided to go into the full invasion in 2022 and the decision to just sit this out and insist on all his declared goals is just another of these wrong decisions. Putin fears that he might fall out of a window if he negotiates peace now and all russia got was a wrecked economy and a couple of rubble towns with all the causalties plus two new NATO countries with one having a direct border with Russia that is longer than the Ukrainian border that caused so much sorrow. However, if just keeps it up like this, there inevitably will come a breaking point that will lead to his fall.
He can either:
1) Start negotiating, try to somehow sell it as a win and hope he doesn't accidentally fall out of a window
2) Try to go all in by declaring general mobilization and send soviet style meat waves of poor equipped and trained men to the front line and hope of a breakthrough. With the drones this will be a giant slaughter and russian causalities probably will exceed WW2 or even WW1 numbers, but there might be a chance that it is achieved with the volume alone and he can work from there.
Russia's future is fucked in both scenarios.

They hit oil depots, the same thing they've done previously. Nothing will come of this.

My brother in christ, they have to ration gas in Moscow and Saint Petersburg (not to mention crimea).
And Ukraine showed now multiple times they can overcome Moscow and Saint Petersburg air defense, which are the best protected cities in all of russia.
But I appreciate the effort to try to downplay this.

more cope, nobody is rationing anything... muh reddit generals in their biased section that will ban anything that disagrees with their viewpoint must be right!!!!

They've struck major oil depots before.. We've seen the massive, ugly black smoke, but in the end, nothing significant came of it.

If Russia is rationing gas, then how about Ukraine? They must be completely out. Shall I start posting Russian strikes? If Russia needs a mass forced mobilization (which they haven't done yet), then how about Ukraine? Which one is closer to collapse? Which one is literally taking unwilling men off the streets to send to the front? Which country has already done mass mobilization more than once? (it wasn't Russia, hint)

Russia Ships Oil at Near-Record Pace as Kiev Pummels Refineries

Article from June 16, 2026

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2026-06-16/russia-s-oil-exports-near-record-pace-as-ukraine-s-drones-target-its-refineries

muh gas ration, but somehow Russian oil shipments continue to maintain near records.... the math isnt mathing

One thing is for sure, NATO supplied Kiev with better, longer-range drones, and Starlink is a problem for Russia. But you can never 100% shoot down massive drone attacks, even if you take down 90%... 10% will still hit their targets. We learned this from the Ukraine-Russia war and the more recent U.S. vs. Iran... Drones are a problem in modern warfare for all countries

And when Russia retaliates for this Moscow attack and pummels Kiev with a massive amount of missiles... you'll ignore this and pretend it didn't happen, as is tradition from retard crew.

muh gas rations

Kiev is about to lose the cities of Kupyansk, Konstantinovka, and Krasny Liman by the end of month/July. Confirmed by both RU and UKR mappers.

The town of Ray-Alexandrovka was confirmed liberated today. Which means the final battles for the last fortifications in Donbass (cities of Sloviansk and Kramatorsk) will begin (already in range of Russian FPV drones), and once those 2 fall. Donbass will 100% be liberated.

I remember when bakhmut was the final battle three years ago. The front line moved 15 km or 9 miles to the west over the past three years.
A snail woul literally move faster.
But when the next rubble town has been captured with another 30 000 causalties, I'm sure the ukrainian lines will collapse and it'll only be two weeks to Kyiv from there, am I right?

Damn, sounds like it will be Kiev that needs to ration fuel and gas, according to what Zelensky just said, not Russia, as the Reddit Generals are claiming.

Better hope they have enough fuel for the defense of Kramatorsk and Sloviansk when it comes

There might come a draft but maybe not. It depends if enough soldiers sign up that Germany achieves it's aim to become the strongest military power in Europe by 2039.
