Did we "destroy" the technology to make 1964 Pontiac GTO? No. Do we currently have the equipment all set up to build one now? No. No car manufacturer would put the time and investment in building what's totally out of date tech and would - and do - focus on R&D for new cars based on new tech. That's all they are saying regarding the moon tech. It's really not that complicated

The truth, it's been so long and tech changed so much, we'd be essentially starting from zero at this point, and some scientists ask if it's really worth the cost and time to develop the tech at this point to return:

There's even more to it than that - the blueprints themselves might not exist any longer. They were physical copies. I still have to deal with that occasionally at work when we need a spare part for something that is still in service but no longer in production - there was no rush to digitize the engineering drawings. So here we have something that is no longer in production AND no longer in service. Even when the physical copies of drawings still exist and are in readable shape, the terminology and nomenclature has changed so much that it can be difficult for engineers to ascertain. To the point, my employer has had to bring guys out of retirement for projects just to help the new team understand notations.
AND now we're talking about engineers having to reverse engineer punch cards to modern computers - it is a pretty large task.

if you listen in the video starting at 50-55 seconds, he said he would love to go to the moon but we don't have that technology anymore

He's not saying we have more advanced technology so we destroyed it, because then he wouldn't say getting to the moon is a problem

maybe he just used the term destroyed because he's still butthurt about apollo getting defunded. OR maybe he is a loose end in a part of a vast government conspiracy and in his senility he has leaked damning information such that youtubers are able to unearth said conspiracy from the comforts of their (wat sounds like sparsely furnished) basements.

its def either one of these things, no way to know which for sure.

I'd say you're probably right about that too, but end of the day, sorta of irrelevant and not some dark plot to cover something up. The tech is so out dated, what real use would the blueprints be anyway at this point? None. At this point, we'd be starting from scratch anyway.

Ugh....it's really not that complicated dude. I posted a link if you wanna get learned on the topic vs some stupid vid taken out of context by another moronic conspiracy derpa derp on YT looking for clicks.

You need to be turak in order to find some dinosaurs who still know how punch cards work.
There are a few out there who tell stories about them.
They are retired.

Landing on the moon? Implausible!

A god who impregnates his own mother so she can give birth to him so he can get nailed to a tree as a young man specifically in order to allow him to forgive us all for a bunch of things he arbitrarily decided were sins in the first place, plus he came back as a zombie? Totally logical!

This really isn’t a difficult concept. We have a family friend who has made a career of restoring classic GM vehicles; he hired retired GM engineers and designers to help him custom craft parts as close to their original likeness with as much authenticity as possible. GM was not interested in manufacturing a particular type of knob or button for a particular model of vehicle after they used them to exhaustion, nor were they interested in keeping blueprints, presses, etc. It would make no sense for them to do so.

Same reason there are very few Ferrari F1 cars from the 50s and 60s floating around. Enzo Ferrari simply saw no use for old cars, and junked them.

It's shaped like a frisbee (how else would it keep flying?) and says "STOP" in alien language. That's why none, or few, have ever visited Earth.

Humans didn't go to the moon but there's a bearded dude living in the sky who is angry about us masturbating. Religiotards always have an interesting standard for scepticism.
"A stupid man's report of what a clever man says can never be accurate, because he unconsciously translates what he hears into something he can understand."

NASA claims they "lost" hundreds of thousands of tapes containing the telemetry data of the moon landings, as well as the original footage.
