i dont think anybody (and certainly not me), is advocating for "open borders." im not even sure what that means. obviously reasonable vetting and procedures should be followed. im not arguing that anyone should legally be able to waltz over our border anytime they like without any kind of legal immigration process. i dont think any liberals actually believe that. i think its just a conservative talking point meant to demonize liberals for beliefs they dont even hold.

im just saying that you should try to put yourself in their shoes, and perhaps try to understand why some of these people might feel like they have little choice but to attempt to cross the border illegally. thats all.

i think it would be very difficult, but not impossible. clearly many have done it. they probably suffered a lot, tried to plan it the best they could, probably received help/aid along the way, and i bet many didnt make it.

Thousands of people marching in a horde intending to break through the border of a country, blows my mind how anyone is OK with this. This is quite literally an invasion, just because they mix in women and children with the criminals and who knows what (terrorists?) doesn't make it any less of an invasion.
