OK I'll spell it out for you...

Israel is the ONLY reason for stability in the Middle East.

Israel is America's greatest ally.

Iran had (and maybe still has) rockets that actually have the words "Death to Israel" written on them.

Iran supports terrorism.

Iran hates Israel and the US.

How are they not a threat?

So many warmongers in this thread.

Makes me sad

Its like they have learned nothing from the Iraq war propaganda and lies. So many senseless, unnecessary deaths on all sides.

Its so easy for fat American couch potatoes to call for war so they can watch it from from the comfort of their own home in front of their HD television sets while they munch on potato chips and guzzle beer. Its like a sport to them because they know they are never truly under threat themselves.

I think I feel sick

A threat to Western Civilization? Or a threat to Israel? And again, I ask, we have an obligation to whom to wipe this supposed scourge from the earth on their behalf?

Anyone who desires (and might acquire the capabilities) to attack Israel and the US, is a threat to western civilization, seeing how (a) Israel is the only reason for stability in the Middle East, and (b) America is the only reason for stability throughout rest of the world. Anyone and anything that threatens the US-Israeli alliance is an enemy, and anyone who despises Judeo-Christian values must be defeated.

INEVER SAIDthat every Iranian should be wiped off the earth, but I do support an invasion via troops on the ground.

I'd rather the Japanese sailors be in the hands of Iranians than Saudis who behead people or the Emiratis who would be forced by neocons/Saudi to make up stories about what happened.

But I'll await your reason for why the Japanese sailors saw a flying object and not a mine on the side of the ship. You know because its SOOOO likely that the Iranians could get mines on that ship with their poverty Navy and that region flooded with our carriers/military bases surrounding them.

I agree, bro. War is just senseless, and has for the most part ran the U.S. into bankruptcy. I voted for Trump, because when he was campaigning he seemed like he was adverse to the past, in regards to war. I still think he is adverse to it, but he has so many war mongers in his ear he seems to go against his gut instinct that war isn't appropriate, and will have negative consequences for the world and the nation.

I guess all you can hope for is the public not getting on board with more war and destruction in the ME.

They aren't on board. Neocons keep trying to build up Iran as the big, bad boogeyman but it isn't gaining any traction with the public.

Then what are you going to invade for if not to destroy the country? Tea? And Iran is no threat to the US at all, much less "Western Civilization". It's even debatable how much of an existential threat they are to Israel, although if the neocons can convince gullible goyim to die in their wars instead of them, they'll make that argument...

Between Trump and Hillary, Trump was certainly the FAR less warmongery choice, although I voted for Gary Johnson, who was even less so. While I do believe that Trump is anti-war to a much greater extent than all of the last Presidents dating back to at least Carter, he also very gullible and now has very powerful neocon advisors.

Invading Iran would be one of the few things he could do that would, in fact, lose the election for him.

You're foolish if you think it's that simple. Something can be a clear threat even if the people don't perceive it that way, as it is with Iran.
