I swear, it seems you guys only have a 4 year memory.

Do you remember when Bush was president? I do, I remember the monkey ears, the cowboy comics, the editorials bemoaning every single dangerous thing he did. They lambasted his intelligence and called him a coward. I remember it on all sides, CTers revved up big time over 9/11. In retrospect it's no surprise a guy like Trump won the R nom, after 9/11 and McCain/Romney the party was dead. Actually, the party wasn't dead, the conservatives didn't have someone worth following that wasn't milquetoast or compromised. I remember the dance around McCain as well. "Maverick" they loved to call him, such a rebel. But when he ran for the presidency-not anymore. Establishment Republican, good ol' boy, and dirty money. They loved him again after he was no longer a "threat" however. It's the same story, every election cycle. Most presidents take it in stride, this one wants to shut down the media tho. And that's disturbing.

Oh so you think you're supposed to just come on here, ignore all the points I made while i was in arguments with multiple people, and direct all my focus on your boring ass question that doesn't really address anything that has been discussed thus far?

yeah...I ignored you. and why are you assuming I'm liberal? because I disagree with you?

how about stop thinking like a tribal ape, and think for yourself. that bipartisan concept only exists so people don't have to truly listen to eachother; and is likely desirable to a controlling govt, that doesn't want us to actually think critically andunify, but instead fight amongst eachother.

stop using those terms, and stop attaching yourself to those concepts. transcend.

I did a small research paper on pandemics for an English class last month. Combing through old newspaper clippings and it's amazing. Everything we are discussing now is EXACTLY what was discussed 100 years ago. Masks, economy, church, etc. Everything. For the same reasons. Using the same rhetoric. The same skepticism. The same worries. Everything. Nothing has changed. If I could copy/paste some of what I found and you'd have a hard time discerning which pandemic the articles were based off.

Trump has centered the narrative around himself. He's a narcissist. People don't realize it because they're too close to the forest. Step back tho and it's utterly ridiculous and obvious.
No its not a sudden revelation that the media is biased. They always have been. But the liberal MSM treated bush MUUUUUUUUCH better than they do trump. With trump, everything he says and does is absolutely wrong. At least with Bush, he occasionally got a few things right. With Obama, fox says he got it all wrong while CNN said he was the perfect potus. Obama leaked directly to them though. As much as Trump brought down the standards of the presidency, CNN and the rest of the liberal media brought down the standards of journalism. They no longer care about informing the people. They only care about fear mongering and pushing the agenda. Case in point: the pandemic. They spend most of their time blaming everything on trump and at the beginning, they FUELED the fire of panic buying. They didnt care about trying to keep people calm. They just wanted to panic people and influence the nov election

i believe you about the pandemics of the past vs today though. I read about the spanish flu and the honk kong flu and if you just substituted honk kong flu and spanish flu for covid, then it all could have been printed yesterday

I see that, and raise you one Dan Rather story on Bush's service record. Nothing in this climate comes close to that. Some will say "Russia" investigation, but Rather came out with totally fake "proof." Everything today is just twisted, and could be seen through if there were more than 2 brain cells at work, but there are no actual fake documents.

With regards to the pandemic...lol. You have not been following from the beginning. I literally had to abandon any news media and Google if I wanted any information on the pandemic. In the beginning, everything was about impeachment, nobody cared about coronavirus. Media flipped out the day basketball was cancelled, until then it was damage control, and no big deal.

You avoided the question again. Do you think censoring people based on political views is wrong? I answered yours.

The only reason I even asked this question initially is because rather than being open minded and acknowledging the point a conservative was making in the JRE clip about twitter censorship, you chose to ignore the evidence with character assassination by saying

Simps, I know it's hard to find an alternative use for the vast amounts of free time you have, but stop looking at Social Media. It is rather simple.

I know it would be one less coping mechanism for you all, but I want you sheep to know that you are nothing and will always be nothing.

Just go away somewhere and do something productive with your lives.

I asked a question, because if the "opposing viewpoint" has misinformation in it, then that can easily be misconstrued as censoring the misinformation, as opposed to censoring an opposing view.

maybe you should provide a specific example of twitter censoring an opposing view, and ask me what i think about that particular circumstance. That's a better way to get an answer, because I have no idea what the context to your question is.

because if I say "of course" you likely wont provide me with a specific example of an instance where twitter did such. or i'm guessing the example wouldn't be definitive.

it's obvious that the "correct" answer would be to say "no jeepbruh, it's not right" it's obvious where you're trying to go. So I'm jumping ahead and asking, dude what example are we using here? where's the situation where twitter was doing this. and where they doing this in THIS instance.

Again, how is it fair to call him a narcissist when he is defending himself from an obviously biased media? If we are going to resort to name calling it would be more fair to call Bush a pussy for not defending himself.

I guess I disagree with your point that because Bush was a push over and let the media walk all over him that Trump should also just take it. And if he doesn't then he should then get another nasty label. Doesn't make sense to me is all.

People should be censored because they have normie brains with very little value to add/ contribute to any topic. They are sheep who ony blurt out the rhetoric that has been driven into their small minds via social mecdia platforms.

I advocate banning sheep from social media. This would result in the death of social media since all smart people are not even on it.

he is NOT wrong. There is a huge monopoly on media platforms in America.
Almost all media is owned by the following conglomerates, Comcast, AT&T, Disney, News Corp. To say that these monopolies don't control speech on their platforms is naive.

That's all I wanted. I just wanted you to answer the question that censoring opposing political view points is wrong.

It was entertaining watching you do everything you could to avoid answering such a simple question and getting so defensive about it.

Of course Trump is a narcissist. Why is that even being questioned?

It's not really relevant though. All politicians are.

I dont know what you are talking about regarding dan rather

I dont use google if i need something regarding trump or modern politics and news unless i need to link an article i have already read. If i need to educate myself on a topic in those categories, i use duckduckgo.

And impeachment is all the MSM and dems care about. They dont give a chit about me or you or hell, even their voters. Which is why pelosi wants the earmark in the 2nd stimulus bill to make it legal for anyone to get an absentee bal;lot with no proof of identity. They cant maintain the house and win back the senate with their policies, ideas and their service record from the past two years. They have to cheat to get what they want and who is going to call them out? The MSM? The spineless pussy republicans? The dem constituents?

You known you can be on the right and be against government overreach as well. Trump is not a conservative, he’s no different than all the things you accuse liberals of, he just has a support base fooled into believing it. Give me limited government, keep your hands off our markets, ensure individual liberty, and provide essential services. That’s it.

no because this post right here is the pointless resolve that I anticipated lol it wasn't a gotcha moment at all.....so unless you had an example of twitter actually doing this, it's meaningless to ask me that question.

I thought you were gonna be like "we'll back in 2015 THIS happened" but nope...nothing. so i was kinda right in why asked that question initially.

Then duckduckgo it. It's an interesting story show the desperation of the media in trying to bring down a president.

Just for fun, imagine if gov and msm are buddies and all on the same team. How would they keep people from all getting together and deciding they dont need a gov?

AngryBaby I just wanna know for real- Did you have any really good statistics, polls, etc in 2016 showing Trump wouldn't be elected?

You just seem so sure about it but I bet if I searched your posts in 2016 you were also sure Trump wasn't gonna win.

^^^Racist police officer who also cries about how racism doesn't exist, also cries reverse racism and typifies the stupidity of the racist right, referring to black people as "they" and regurgitating racist stereotypes.
