After 10 years of being taxed to death we're selling up and moving from the Bay to Dallas, I'm making almost the same base salary but I'll definitely miss those bay area bonuses. The job more than makes up for it though.
Apparently we can sell our place and make enough profit to buy a nice place in cash and maybe a 2nd income property, which is nice.
Going to miss the state park in my backyard, but otherwise I can't wait to move.

It's a hot night. The mind races. You think about your knife: the only friend who hasn't betrayed you, the only friend who won't be dead by sunup. Sleep tight mates, in your quilted chambray night shirts.

And moving to a city with a 5 x lower crime rate is worth almost as much as never hearing the word "problematic" used in a non mocking way again.

Also seen Owning Mahoney for the first time, great stuff

My experience is that it's not so much that hangovers get worse as you get older but that you need more sleep to get over them. Not enough sleep + hangover = walking dead.

Which part of Dallas or DFW are you in? We're moving to Richardson for that sweet 5 minute commute (after years of 90 mins each way in traffic)

Have you guys seen Lethal Weapon?
Overall, the show was great. I thought it was good remake and it was a refreshing show. I usually get bored with cop shows, but I tuned in weekly to try and catch it.
Due to schedule, I only caught the halfway point. I didn't see the beginning nor the finale. But, you can Prime it now, so I've been watching it.
Holy. ****ing. ****. That finale. That's probably the single best piece of television I've seen.
What an amazing cliff hanger to boot.
Season 2 looks like it's gonna be
Spoiler!
Man on Fire: The TV Show
Damn good cinema.
