Also school funding, let's be serious there are so many fukkin factors that differ between states and let alone counties among those states in how they choose to get more taxes and funding, etc. Where I live it mostly comes in the form of (local to the district) property taxes and state revenue. However, in our district itself when that revenue was not enough it was put on the ballot to increase taxes (property) for the students and teachers. Now I pay $17.33 more a month in taxes, big whoop and for how much they'll get I'm fine with it. Traditionally I dislike taxes but if they lay it out and tell me EXACTLY what they are going to do with it you can sway me if it makes sense.

What my little story comes down to is, the poor white farmer kid in the boonies is getting in the same ballpark as the poor minority in urban areas as far as education goes. Truly where kids shine and have the best schools is being in suburbia. Of course there will be variations and outliers but that's how life is. Having one giant swoop of give ______ "fairly" will not suffice at all and it needs to come down to the local entities to handle it.
