What we are discussing has everything to do with the content of the senator's statement which is the subject of this thread. Also, telling people to go visit neo-nazi websites for critizing relgions that preach violenece is irrational, critizing one thing doesnt mean automatic endorsement of another.

That’s not really the thing bro. Places where these events happen regularly, it becomes a norm for them. There’s countries like Pakistan that have suicide bombings all the time(extremist Muslims killing Muslims), yet it’s barely on international news. It’s just the harsh reality of how life is, there is a huge political problem behind these, not just religious, but people shut that down and just say, “oh but so and so teaches you to do this in their religion”. That’s the simple minded way to thInk. There’s a reason countries like Canada don’t get fuked with anymore where you live by people like isis, because they aren’t as politically involved as America is in the Middle East.back when the Ottawa shooting happened, Is when Canada WAS involved politically.

Truth is, as easy as these problems are for us to argue about on the internet on who’s right and who’s wrong, these issues are bigger than the both of us, and there’s a deeper history behind why it happens than we like to think. But of course we live in a first world country where we don’t know what that life is like, so it’s easy to point the finger and blame certain groups when you see it from an outsiders perspective.

The issue I have is that you have one group who has an opinion that is critical of Islam...and the other group doesn't really have or share THIER IDEAS or thoughts on the matter. All they want to do is say the first group is racist for having an opinion.

If your opinion is that someone else shouldn't be allowed to their opinion and you attempt to silence them through whatever means, you are literally a nazi.
