If things go well, perhaps Vance or someone in this admin might get in, but even then there will have to be a different direction because DJT is probably the only one that can pull off what he does. It' goes back to that up until Trump, the GOP was "The party of Reagan" which after 2 Bushs of 3 terms trying to live in the shadows of Reagan had burned out. Maybe they will try to go back to low taxes small government. Candace Owens would be fun just to watch the gymnastics of how the left is going to explain how a black woman is a misogynist racist and I guarantee you they will.

I don't know about 2028, there is currently too much stench attached to the conservative brand thanks to Drumpf and the dems are gonna get power no matter what simply by gop voters not showing up rather than the dems being popular. It will be the predictable pendulum swing. Everyone has short memories. Then people will get sick of the inevitable woke bullshit that will come back and maybe by 2032 Tucker and Candace will have the right time to strike.

He raises a valid point though. There are some things our military is truly amazing at. Like yes that uranium raid failed but look at all the shit that had been set up deep behind irans borders and they had no idea. I dont think anyone else could pull something like that off

But we have no way to deal with drones, no way to produce large quantities of anything, and our AD is an absolute joke. Iran is just exploiting these gaps and it would be nice if there was some motivation to fix these problems instead of sky screaming at anyone pointing them out. We pay a lot of money for the military and deserve to have it run by serious people not trannies and clowns

I agree, the drones are a complete game changer and even if one was against our excursion in Iran, this was a tremendous learning opportunity for out military command, etc, especially if we ever have to face a real military threat.

Commercial "autonomous" aircraft have been around since the 60's, and experimentally long before that. The threat from small drones has (literally LOL) been on the radar for probably 20 years now. The first or second idea after DJI started selling $1,000 drones a decade ago was "it would be cool to drop a hand grenade from one of these, hue hue hue".

The strategy seems pretty simple, if the threat is 10,000 drones that cost $1,000 each, we need something like 100,000 defensive drones that cost $10,000 each, or we're probably fucked. Instead we've decided to build 10 systems that cost $100 Billion each.

The drone thing is an ongoing issue being developed but the real embarrassment is the failure of patriot missiles, especially considering what they cost, and our inability to produce large numbers of them.
