Why are Democrats like this? Mark Kelly on DEI

I know why. He said this because he's speaking to a black audience.

And this is essentially what black people demand from white people. They want us to grovel at their feet, lick their boots, apologize, put ourselves down, treat them special, etc. And Democrats happily give that to them.

Democrat voting "males" of the misc, aren't you ashamed?

Mark Kelly seems like a giant pussy TBH. You've never seen me defend DEI, but you could just ask instead of preemptively getting defensive.

As a high IQ individual, I'm capable of doing more than one thing at a time, like separating government from the private sector and the differences in hiring policies.

Mostly though, I'm incredibly disappointed you didn't keep up with the banger thread titles. Eric Fartwell was epic so I don't know why you passed on Mark Smelly.

LOL@this they/them.

Hey guyz Im not here to defend DEI, but businesses should be allowed to hire based on racial/sexual preferences...but only as long as my fellow leftists are the ones setting the policies.

Meh, these straw man arguments just reek of desperation and attention seeking.

I'm happy to give you the attention though, no worries. It's for the common good.

Should businesses be allowed to hire based solely on race/ethnicity/sexual origin?

It is a yes or a no until you clarify what you mean by "allowed" and who will be enforcing it.

I won't put words in your mouth, but it seems you're saying you want the government to control who private business hires.

As opposed to the government controlling who the government hires.

Never go full Stizzel.

So you believe private businesses have the right to discriminate against black people when hiring? Because thats against the law, which means, the govt is already in control.

Dont get me wrong theres a lot of low IQ people on the right that actually believe private businesses should have the right to discriminate based on race, etc, without coming to the conclusion that of course that policy will be used almost entirely against them and their children.

Its why leftists like yourself are starting to support the argument that private businesses should be allowed to hire based on race..

It's just a short clip of what he said but I'd ask him "how exactly it would be a disaster?" and then wait for the word salad answer that doesn't answer.

I found that in hiring, when it comes to race, it's a pattern you see. So you are in charge of hiring. You need to hire 5 whites and 5 blacks. The qualifications of black guys is going to be slim pickings. Most have huge red flags written all over them. So you hire 5 black guys. One might be a good hire, maybe every other cycle you'll get someone who is excellent, 1 will be okay, 3 will be bad hires with about a 50% chance one will be an absolute disaster. Hire 5 white guys, one might be a bad hire, 1 will be okay, 2 will be good, and one will be excellent.

So, you decide to fire the bad hires. You can fire the NG white guy, no compensation, deny his unemployment claim but chancer are he won't actually apply for unemployment. Might as well fire the one that is just Okay, no worries, easy fire. Now, firing the black guys no matter how bad they are is a whole different story. You better have your paper trail lined up because you damn know he's going to apply for unemployment and milk it as far as he can, good chance he's going to call a lawyer to see if he can get a case. Basically, you will be guilty until proven innocent and the fact he believes racism had a role, you very well might have to pay out. A lot of companies basically do a profit/loss analysis on if it's worth it to fire them. Good chance the higher ups will tell you that you can't fire them.

I believe we don't need any more laws trying to control the extremely complicated problems with race in the country. To answer semi-directly, yes private businesses should have the right to discriminate... as long as they aren't retarded about it. And private citizens have the right to sue private business for discrimination... if they can prove it.

Policing the overt racism is the best we can hope for and all we should strive for. Let the rest sort itself out, it's fine.

LOL you cant grant private businesses the right to discriminate and then allow those same people who they discriminate against, to sue.

For those higher IQ, less ideological driven voters on the right. What youre seeing now are leftists like Seatard, starting to co-opt right leaning positions regarding individual/private right of businesses, etc, not because they believe any of it(thats literally laughable) but rather, they've realized they can use a core principle of yours against you in the long run especially as they gain more power. Thats Fact.

Imagine being so fucking retarded that MAGA chooses to give up being able to hold bank accounts, being denied jobs/higher education, etc based on your skin color, etc in order for some fuk face not to have to bake a cake for a gay couple.

Sure you can. That's essentially how it works now. The only place to make the legal determination is in court, otherwise it's just feelings.

The gay cake thing is a decent example. They could hate gays all day long, and never bake a single gay cake. It only became an issue once both parties forced the issue and decided to make it specifically about religion versus discrimination.

I'm a realist and know that hate can't be made illegal and I don't really want it to be. It's not because of all that other stuff in your post, it's because I'm selfish and want to minimize other people's problems becoming mine.

It’s less about blacks and more about following in the footsteps of Jesus Christ. Guys like Donald Trump and myself understand it.

Maybe one day you will too.

No, its about washing their feet to atone for your sin of being white.

And nobody understands getting down on your knees and subjugating yourself like that Tard. But hey.. you do you lol.

How does that even work Tard.. Do you find that that endears you to them? Do they love you when you defend them from people like me - no matter what they did? And what do you get out of it other than patting yourself on the back.. Do they take you out to dinner or something?

This conversation is in real need of sillie. I mean i have full confidence in Tard making the same argument, im just not feeling the same burning desire that sillie brought to the table when discussing voluntarily washing the feet of black people...

So you would be in favor of congress passing a law and the SC upholding it, that states businesses have the legal right to discriminate against black people in hiring/renting, etc.

No, it would give license to institutionalize racism and piss off millions of people.

What we have now is as good of compromise as we’re gonna get IMO. And yes, I’m both agreeing and disagreeing with discrimination at the same time. It’s not a yes or no question and why I didn’t give a straight answer originally.
