Libs, dems, blm supporters of the misc...answer this srs question ITT
I'm genuinely curious and haven't heard a good answer for this. I spoke about this with some lib family members and they literally just answered with 'muh feels' type response dedsrs. And these are otherwise extremely intelligent and successful black people.
Question:
Why do you support the lib agenda and blm movement when the actual statistical data overwhelmingly discredits any of these viewpoints?
Maybe this is the wrong forum for this since you guys are mostly conservative and I won't get many responses, but I'm genuinely curious. I know there are a few libs around here. I'm actually not trying to rustle or call you out. I just need answers srs

Most people don't care about numbers. They see a video of a Black dude getting shot by cops, and their brain automatically goes, "These fooking racist White cops are going around killing Black people!"
For most people, videos and pictures serve as much stronger "proof" (with a lot stronger emotional impact) regardless of what the actual data says.
For example, a picture of a starving kid will inspire more people to donate than statistics that show millions of kids are starving every year.
As another example, I doubt many people on the interwebz started developing a racial bias after reading Black people are only 13% of the population but commit 50% of violent crimes.
But you can sure as hell bet many White people became a little more racist when they started seeing videos of Black people beating up old people and destroying businesses.
Why? Cause those videos have a MUCH stronger emotional impact than just the numbers.
So yeah, people are irrational.

I'm more or less membership to a club and getting the same talking points from liberal media. Conservatives do the same thing from with their sources.
I will say just about every person I've seen hyperinvolved politically on either side is pretty much a loser that gets their identity from their politics. High performance people dgaf because they're so focused on goals.

I can't stress enough of how ignorant liberals are to facts. Had an argument with a lib friend earlier who refused to face the facts, saying that I am just "singling out certain black people's deaths" when I say that the black people who died/got shot are criminals...
Buddy,.... the BLM literally runs off of "certain black people's deaths"..... Ahhhhhhhh

I'll be honest with you....You can't have a civil debate on the misc whether here or R/P. Miscers will cheer lead for the left or right no in between anymore.
Sucks for us moderates although Trump is terrible so Biden it is.

Had the opportunity of using these facts in a setting recently. I don’t talk politics with friends. They were talking about the George Floyd stuff and I just stayed silent the entire time. None of them knew a lot about what they were saying but were mostly parroting lib talking points. One of the girls asked me what I thought. I said, “I don’t know” and she pressed me saying she knows I pay attention to this stuff.
So I said fuk it and just went on a tangent for 5 minutes about how no data supports the idea that black people are killed unjustly by police, that there’s no systemic racism in America, etc etc. They pushed back with feelings initially but the more I provided facts and encouraged them to look them up the more they listened and acted surprised by these facts.
There are definitely leftists who don’t give a fuk and will argue with you no matter the evidence you provide. But there’s a lot of people who truly don’t know any better but just assume they’re being told the truth by the mainstream media.

1) I want to see Trump removed by whatever means enable that to occur. If large scale protesting makes him look like chit, I will support that. Trump is trying to spin this as Biden's America, but Biden isn't the President. Trump is. Think of it as throwing him a curveball. He's a good hitter, right?
2) I believe systemic racism and police brutality are still issues that need to be addressed in this country. We definitely need some criminal justice reform, but I don't think defunding the police is the solution. That being said, I do not support the RIOTS -- especially not over controversial circumstances, such as Breonna Taylor's or Jacob Blake's deaths. I do understand where that frustration and rage is coming from though. I don't think all or even most or even a significant fraction of cops are racists. I do think there are racist cops who make life hell for people, and that cop authority in general needs to be checked a little. I don't think we should defund the police. We may even need to fund them MORE to provide them better training and standards.

Because stats are racist to liberals. Liberals think based on what their group of friends on social media tells them and what CNN tells them, both of which are heavily liberal.
They almost got to me 2-3 months ago and then I started doing individual research and realize how much superior conservative/Trump is over Liberal/Biden.

They say things like how BLM is not the one causing violence and how all these people are "separate" from the cause. They pretty much think BLM really is a peaceful organization that CNN tries to make them out to be. In regards to criminals? Well they think because they've (black protestors) had such a tough time growing up and with systemic racism that they just lash out instead. And if they see a white protester then they make some claim that the white guy is a Trump supporter just trying to make them look bad.

Good luck getting an answer, these people just follow trends without thinking for themselves and can’t defend their positions.
